Philips One by Sonicare Battery Toothbrush, Midnight Blue, HY1100/04

Love this amazing travel tootbrush! I always miss having my full size sonicare electric toothbrush when I'm traveling, and after 3.5 weeks in New Zealand this little gem did not disappoint! Takes 1 AAA battery which is still going after the trip! It's not as powerful as the full size sonicare, but it cleans better than a manual TB and it's small and thin enough to pack up. One nice feature is that it doesn't leak all over the case is well designed and as long as you insert the bursh side down you are good to go! I highly recommend this for travel if you are hooked on your electric TB!

Absolutely love this toothbrush! Purchased for a friend for travel, no recharging. Lasts a long time on AAA batteries. Great price, reputable brand and has a great case! A definite must have for work, travel or to use daily at home. 2 minute timer (four 30 second increments) great for all ages!

I don't mean to complain about this. I use this brush as a travel brush that I don't have to manage a charging stand for, or buy a more-expensive redundant wired toothbrush.For this, you can always buy a replacement if you're traveling without a charging stand and spend less on a redundant travel brush.But that doesn't factor into the rating at all, that's just why I bought it.Sonicare brushes are very good brushes. The timer is very helpful and my dental record appreciates using a good electric toothbrush, which this is a good one.But it's not great. Two complaints:1) The timer is bad, because it's too soft. It's barely noticeable and easy to miss. What this means for me is that I can't rely on it, so it's completely useless. I just have to guess at the 20 second mark per corner or just brush randomly. Feature failure.2) Its too dang thin. I have no idea why this brush is physically thinner than Sonicare's chargeable brush, but it annoys me that my travel brush has a different form and has to be held differently than the home brush made by the same brand. Maybe some people like it because it's more similar to a manual toothbrush, but, in general, electric toothbrush users like myself are used to holding the thicker toothbrush because the chargeable toothbrushes are more common and we use them. Why's this different? It's just annoying.4/5 stars

My dental hygienist has been hounding me to get an electric toothbrush so I got this one. I've had one of the normal home units years ago and didn't like the bulky footprint. Although some people said this doesn't clean well, I've found it does a pretty good job, at least as well as my previous electric toothbrush. It's sonic, so it's not meant to spin like mad, but rather does it's cleaning with micro-movements. Two weeks after getting it, I left for Iceland. I loved how easy it was to pack this up and take it with me and be able to travel without disrupting my normal teeth cleaning routine. I also like that it takes a standard AAA battery rather than some obscure battery size. I've ordered new heads, but I've had it for almost 3 months now and the head still looks pretty good and I have yet to change the battery. I do wish the timer was adjustable as I feel like I need another 30 seconds to finish cleaning my mouth so sometimes let it go for another partial round.

I'm doing a lot more travelling these days and wanted an electric toothbrush that fit in my toiletry bag better than my standard model. I did a lot of research and kept coming back to this one and I'm thrilled with the purchase!It's been all over the world with me and I haven't even had to replace the batteries yet -- the battery life is fantastic.great price and value and I love the case, design and color. It might even replace my sonicare daily toothbrush!

I'm so glad I bought these for travels! I only brush with an electric toothbrush but it was such a hassle to travel with one. This battery powered toothbrush is just as powerful as my home toothbrush. The carrying case is perfect! The bristles are firm yet soft.

Mine does not beep or 'notify' according to the 'QuadPacer' feature.Sonicare brush does a change in vibration to a higher pitch as the 'notification,' but the One that I have does not change frequency, beep, or anything.It does the job, not useless, decent for travel or keeping in the car or at work, for example.
