I was disappointed with that set as it came broken and asked for return

Dangerous leeching of paint
I have been using these utensils for several months now. A few days ago, I accidentally left to soak one of the wooden spoons in a pot of water before I went to sleep. The next day when I woke up, I noticed the water was slightly brown. I thought this was strange, but I left the spoon in there to see what would happen. As the day went on, the water became more and more brown. I poured out the water and cleaned the pot and decided to try the experiment again, this time with the wooden spatula soaked in cold water. The same thing happened again, the water continued to turn more and more brown as time went on!This means that the utensils are leeching their paint into water, even after months of use and washing! I can only imagine how much has been leeched by the utencils when I used them to stir the hot soups and pasta water.

Fabulous quality and very attractive. Each item in this great set is easy to use. I had thought that I had found Nirvana with this utensil set. NEVER HAVE PUT THEM IN DISHWASHER. Very careful to wash by hand. Be careful if buying this set. Amazon only gives 30 days return window.

Very light, economical and durable cooking set
I bought it as a gift to my mom cause she like wooden utensils for cooking and she loved it. Its well made and good quality wood was used. It's very light but durable. Worth buying and highly recommended.

Smells toxic!
I just got these and they have a very very strong chemical smell. I soaked them for 24 hours and no change. I’m very worried about this as I’m supposed to cook with these and you know... lead and what not... would not recommend taking the chance.

Best Kitchen Utensils
I was quite surprised at the quality and sturdiness of these kitchen utensils. They clean like a dream and do not fade or discolour due to washing. They are great to use with non-stick type cookware or any other cookware. I have a new favourite. I will not go back to stainless steel or plastic utensils, providing these are still available in the future.
