So far it great!
You use the original screws and spring. The unit mimicks your iron sights. And you can adjust the elevation with the rear screw. There is not windage adjustment however. Haven't shot it yet. Will update. But so far I'm happy with it. Seems like it would work well with adding an optic or after market laser. Thanks guys!

Good but have to shim it
This works but unfortunately the drop down block section is a bit short so if you just screw it on, it will sit lower in the back than the front and not be functional. As noted in other reviews, need to shim up that back block. I used a washer, ground just slightly in my case so it fit in that space, see photo. This was enough to get the rail level and then I was able to mount a micro red dot --- all good!!!

Needed a little fine tuning.
It didnt really fit well at first. It wouldn't seat all the way down. But i took a simple hand file did some shaving off the length, and in no time it fit perfect. Well worth buying.

Fits perfect on my C9
Fit perfect on my High-Point C9. Took maybe 3 minutes to remove rear sight and mount the rail and slip on my new sight.

Not strong enough for actual use.
I installed this on my C9 in conjunction with an ADE micro red dot sight. I used thread locker with the original hardware. At first, the rail was distractingly misaligned with the line of the barrel and top of the gun, however I found that adding the stock rear sight adjustment spring back in and tightening the screws down fully caused the spring to bottom out and act as a spacer, resulting in the piece of rail being in line with the barrel. I added thread locker and tightened the screws down with as much force as I dared without stripping the threads in the slide. I zeroed the sight but it lost zero within a few magazines. I put about 250 rounds total through this configuration, with the last 100 or so I removed the sight and just used the backup sights in the rail attachment itself (which is a nice feature to have) because it had hopelessly lost zero and I didn't want the red dot to go flying off.By the time I was done, the aluminum around the rear mounting screw had deformed and the hole had become wallowed out, rendering the adapter useless. The problem seems to be that they made the metal too thin around the screw holes in order to accommodate the stock hardware. I guess they never actually tested this product with anything attached to it, because if they had, they would have discovered that the product is fundamentally incapable of functioning as designed.
