Normal shoe size 9 in woman’s, what size should I get?

When purchasing skates online it is very important to get your size right so you won't have to return them and pay extra money for shipping, not to mention waiting another two weeks to get the exchange done. Here is what you need to do to get the size right. Stand up on top of a piece of paper and ask someone to trace with a pencil around both of your feet. Measure the length of the tracing by drawing the longest line possible within it and measuring it to the closest 1/16 of an inch. Take this measurement and apply it to the sizing chart that corresponds to the brand of skates you are purchasing which can be found here If you are buying the skates for a child make sure to as half to a full size for growing room If you have a wide foot, get skates with a width measurement "Wide" or C If you have a narrow foot get skates with a width measurement "Narrow" or A Usually rule of thumb for figuring out your width is your own perception. If you have a wide foot, you know that you have wide foot because it's been troubling you with shoes your entire life. Same goes for a narrow foot. medium foot is usually when you are not sure if you have a wide or a narrow. I would say go through the reviews, as someone with your foot size might've bought these skates. I'm a size 7 in shoe, but my skate size is a 5.5. If I would've went with the chart then I would've ended up with a skate way too big for me. A good rule of thumb is a size or two smaller than your actual foot size, you want your skates snug.

Superb Ankle Support

The skates fit well and are true to size based on the foot measurement chart. The skates do provide superb ankle support which was missing in my former cheap brand of ice skates. The factory sharpening was not that great to be honest. I used the skates today at my local rink and found them not to be very sharp at all. I will be taking them for a professional sharpening next month before I use the skates again.

Do not go exactly by the sizing chart.

So after reading all of the reviews I was very confused. Some people said to go by the sizing chart on the last picture and some people said they just ordered their normal shoe size and all worked. Well after a few attempts of shipping back-and-forth I decided to go up a size to have room for socks. They are very stiff and I realize that they will break in but I don’t think your toes are supposed to go numb. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 so I ordered the 5.5 like chart said. Do not go exactly by the sizing chart. My toes definitely went numb way too tight. I ended up going up a size and ordered a 6.5 I probably could’ve gotten away with a size 6 but I like to wear thick socks for extra cushion. So whenever ordering at least go up half a size.. Also make sure when you are measuring your foot you are measuring from the tip of your big toe to your heel bone not just the bottom curvature on your heel or you will be off. Hope this helps.
