Quick to use. Cheap enough to be disposable but high enough quality to do it’s job. Successfully grew 9” long 4” wide butternut squashes, sugar baby melons, cantaloupes vertically without concerns. Would absolutely buy again!

EASY TO USE

The problem with these is the draw string pinches the vine and causes all the support to be on the vine not the melons it self. These would be great if your just looking for a bag to carry melons. But if you're growing them on a trellis (especially small Mellon's) it doesn't work great. Perhaps there is a better way to use them that I don't see. However I can't find any instructions on how to better use them.

I used these to help support my watermelon & cantaloupe I grew over the summer. They held up extremely well! I also used them to cover my sunflowers so critters wouldn’t get to the seeds before me. I am excited to use them again next growing season.

I purchased these with the intent of using them to support cantaloupe and watermelon, that I have trellised in my garden to keep them off the ground. I purchased separately, small carabiners, which I placed in the drawstring, and then attached to the metal trellis to support the full weight of the fruit. One of my watermelon‘s grew to about 1 1/2 times the size of a basketball and Wade 18 pounds. The drawstring and plastic netting expanded around the watermelon without restraining it. There were also no signs of stress on the mesh netting. These worked very well, and I would highly recommend them to anyone doing similar trellising with melon type fruits.

Used these on my small watermelons to keep them from sagging on the fence. Worked well. I wouldn't recommend for larger melons (too heavy). I also like the fact they are bright red with yellow tie string. This helps me find the melons much easier.

Nets were just what I was looking for and work perfectly for the melons that I am growing.
