I hurt my back and had to set up a temporary office in a different place where I could still work comfortably in a recliner! My choice for a microphone was a crucial part of that and I am patting myself on my sore back for buying the Movo MC1000 . I have used it for calls to clients, a zoom office meeting already and gaming at night. Everyone has reported my voice as loud and very clear. I will be using it from now on, even when I return to my regular office. Installation could not have been easier. I plugged it in, and selected it as my sound input in Windows 10>> DONE! Quality and versatility is immediately obvious. It is powerful but low profile and small enough to not take up a lot of my now very limited desktop space. I could even place it much further away if I needed to. Excellent product, and well worth the reasonable price! Well done MOVO, your MC1000 is right behind my dog's paw who insisted on being in this shot!

I've installed two of these units so far, needing to extend them from the controlling computer in both instances. The first was extended via USB cable to a distance of ~25' (two 10' extensions plus the included cord). The second time I employed USB over CAT6 extenders since I needed to go a much further distance from the control computer. In both instances, the recording quality was solid and audio playback from the input was clear. I recommend these units to anyone that needs a low-priced, high-quality, microphone for video conferencing.

We've found that certain rooms with loud HVAC are really hard to capture all the audio from participants surrounding this device without also getting all the Air Moving Noise... but in most situations, this mic comes through like a champ and cancels table noise really well.

We use this microphone for our hybrid Zoom recovery meeting. We plug it into a laptop for our Zoom participants, and it does a great job of picking up even the mumblers in the corner of the room. Excellent solution!

Bought this mic after receiving complains from colleagues that my company given headset mic was muffled when I gave presentations. The mic is sensitive and can clearly pic up noise/voice from meters away, so if you blast your ceiling fan or air conditioner then it might get picked up. But this isn’t an issue if you are continually talking as your voice will easily cancel out the background noise.I mainly use it for Microsoft Teams meetings and after using it I’ve never heard a single complain about my voice quality. Only complaint was that some echos were heard but that is mainly due to my room configuration not the mic.The mic looks awesome on the desk and enhances the overall ambiance and feel of the work desk.Installation is a breeze just plug into the computer let it auto identify/install the driver.

When I initially purchased this unit my expectations weren't that high. I set it up and did a Skype session with a friend. I asked him how it sounded and he said crystal clear! My wife spoke from across the room and he said that he could hear her perfectly as well. This microphone is going to be used for group Skype conference calls, so I was worried about the pickup range. No worries now that I have tried it. The unit is smaller than I expected - which is good! It installed with the Windows driver, so no disc to install the driver - which is good! Nice feature having the headphone jack right on the microphone so you can hear it without any delay. Overall, great purchase and recommend it highly! It connects via USB only which is explained in the description. I just wanted anyone that was going to purchase it that it doesn't have a 3.5mm connection and that would be easy to miss while reading the item description. I would imagine if you are reading this long-winded review, you probably picked up on the USB only connection already. A+++ product!

This mic does not work well for boisterous groups. I have a party of 5 D&D players playing at a dining table, and this mic frequently looses quality and stops transmitting completely when things get loud.This mic would probably be ok for a couple of people having an orderly meeting, but it is not a good option for people speaking at different volumes, and talking over each other.I do not recommend this microphone.

Doesn’t work well on a laptop. The speakers built-in to my laptop worked better.

C'est un bon micro qui vient en complément de ma webcam qui avait pourtant un bon son mais j'ai préféré un rendu plus puissant et ce micro me va très bien pour cette utilisation dans ma chambre, sur ma table de nuit.

Daher habe ich mir das Movo-Mikro geholt - und bin begeistert.Der Anschluss funktionierte problemlos, das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel ist relativ lang, so dass man das Mikro auf dem Schreibtisch frei positionieren kann und - das Wichtigste - die Klangqualität ist hervorragend.Ich habe es seitlich der eigentlichen Arbeitsfläche (im Bereich des Telefons) stehen und so ist es normalerweise zwischen 50cm und 100cm von mir entfernt, wenn ich spreche. Ich habe verschiedene Gesprächspartner gefragt und sie alle lobten die Tonqualität.
