Love these paddles. I started playing pickleball with these paddles a year ago and recently bought my Grandson a set. Easy grip, lightweight and still look like new.

Pros: - Lightweight allows control as well as fast swings- Budget-friendly price- Looks fresh especially with the name brand- Solid value package with the slk balls and a very useful bagCons: - The paddle lacks power due to smaller size and lackluster core- The handle is small for someone with a big hand or wants to use double handed backhand- The grip is not grippy like other beginner paddles in it's classIn summary, if your a beginner I would recommend these but they would not be my first recommendation. For those intermediate players like me don't go near these they won't serve you the justice.

Love that the product arrived overnight at 6:00 am next day … today! This is a beginner set, I'm a beginner. Yesterday I watched other players to learn the serving rotation & once I did I got online and ordered, based on what other players were playing with and a few recommendations. When I got to the court today, I was told I got a good deal & a decent beginner racket. Glad I got two because another women sat watching like I was yesterday and I was able to offer her my other racket. Remember, you place your racket on a stand with other rackets to hold your place, and you want a decent racket sitting up there. lolonce I learned how scoring & serving rotation worked I decided to start playing. I wanted the paddle so I could okay today and it happened. Apparently, other players said I got a good deal learned how scoring worked, checked out which brand most players were using and ordered the SLK paddles. I wanted them overnighted so I could play today, which I did. and was told by other Pickleball peeps last night at my gym that this was a reasonable deal and SLK is a trusted, well know brand. Several young boys, who I believe know were using this brand last night varying in design and quality. Since I’m new and don’t know brands, I sat and watched other players last night to see what they were using, asked a few their opinion & placed my order. I price shopped and Amazon was inline either other retailers. Paddle arrived and I played today for first time! I felt better putting a brand like SLK in the rack to wait my turn. I was glad I had the extra racket as I already let someone borrow it who was sitting there watching like I was last night .

After some research, these paddles seemed perfect for us as beginners with an intention to start with good mid-range paddles. These have a wide sweet spot which adds to our newbie ability to control the hit without expert placement of paddle contact with the ball. The Carbon-fiber surface gives nice control when contacting the ball and we were even able to play around with spin, both intentionally and unintentionally. The 16mm width allows us to hit the ball with no weird vibrations and get a good solid pop. For us there was plenty of power, since that's not a beginners game for us. The regular sized handle was also great since we are not attempting two-handed backhand power shots. The carrying case was great and we like the all-purpose balls which we used on an outside court. I used regular 3M electrical tape to add a layer of protection along the rim, which blended in seamlessly and worked to some extent as long as we are not crashing the paddle into the ground attempting to scoop a low hit. Great choice for us. highly recommended

My wife and I are new to Pickle Ball, so you have to take this review with a grain of salt.I think it’s a heck of a buy for a really solid starter set that comes with everything you need to get out there.Nice carry case, 3 balls, 2 rackets with excellent performance (again, beginners) and they seem like they’ll outlast us! Seriously, highly recommended for someone just starting out.

Very light racquet. Easy to use and hit the ball during pickleball. Glad I made this purchase. I like the quality of the balls too.

Great quality at a great price. I needed the smaller handle grip as well.
