Makes a Lovely Gift
Bought this for my mother as a Mother’s Day gift (had originally planned a west end trip but coronavirus put an end to that). Just out of surgery and discharged from hospital after a very long spell of kidney stones/sepsis/blood clots/operations, all she has been wanting is soup. Her local shops are clean out of the flavours she likes as everyone has run out to stock up before the apocalypse. Bought her this on a whim. She is OBSESSED. She cannot be stopped. My dad has never eaten so much soup in his life. She’s getting experimental. Left overs have never been so salvaged. It’s only a matter of time before she sneaks off to the kitchen in the dead of night and starts making the most bizarre bowls of soup using food that should not take liquid form like some kind of culinary mad scientist. Pizza crusts. Chinese takeaway. Dessert soups. That whirring noise will become weaved into my fathers nightmares, I’m sure of it.Good soup maker though. Five stars.Came quickly. Cooks perfectly. Seems sturdy.

Easy to use - makes great soup
It had been years since I’d made soup and having recently got back into cooking rather than buying ready meals started looking through recipes online. Many of the recipes recommended a soup maker-less mess, quick and easy to use plus soup is ready in twenty minutes. I was sceptical at the claims but ordered this model as it was mid range re price, had all the features of higher priced models, looked good and had a digital display. It comes up in three pieces, a kettle type jug, a top unit that houses the display and inserts the blade into the jug plus the power lead. It’s a sturdy machine, doesn’t feel flimsy. The top unit is the weightiest part of the machine as an FYI. Made my first soup-carrot and coriander the day it arrived. Tasted so good my daughter thought I was trying to pass M&S soup off as my own! If you are considering a soup maker I highly recommend this one. It also does juicing but I’ve not tried that yet. Just made a second soup- broccoli this time and it’s delicious, the first one wasn’t a fluke :)

Great product
I am very pleased with this soup maker. I had a Morphy Richards before this and one day it just refused to work. So far, so good with this one. It makes lovely soup. I generally use the smooth option. Very quick and easy. Soup in about 20 minutes. You just throw everything in and let it get on with it! In the winter I generally have soup on the go all the time. A batch in this would last me a few days. Great for lunches etc.

Soup maker
I bought to make soup, as I usually do it in a saucepan then have to use a hand blender to chop all the veg up once it's all cooked but this soup maker does it all for you just chop the veg into small bits first . Comes with a couple of recipes ,but I tend to do my own thing ,which hasn't always worked out because I put too much water and not enough veg .so just make sure you dont always have to fill up to maximum line. Its also a bit noisy and makes me jump every time it gets to the blending stage.

A must have for a single person.
Arrived in good time. I was very impressed after using this machine for the very first time. I have used it several times since and following several different recipes, and I am still very impressed. I have read many adverse comments but, I think the reason behind many is that they are not reading the book let, provided, thoroughly.
