Perfect fit
I've been working on an old mountain bike and somewhere along the way, someone put in a seat post that was way too narrow. After carefully widening the top of the seat tube again, I measured it with a micrometer at just about 26.4 mm. I ordered this 26.2 seat post and it went in perfectly, not just dropping in but didn't have to force it either. I like the clamp as well, and the materials look solid.

WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE???? It's NICE
I like this seat post. I mean, what's not to like? The mount where you attach it to the seat rails is strong & sturdy. I have full confidence it will hold my 225 pounds. It's adjustable, so I can really get a precise seat position. I like the front of my bike seats a touch higher than the back of the seat. That adjustability is important to me. Also, I'm 6'1", so I need a longer post than the length of the stock posts on most bikes. The 350 mm length is plenty sufficient. The silver color is also fine. The price is very fair. So what's not to like? I don't hesitate in recommending this seat post. ENJOY !!!

Fine Product, Misleading Picture
Picked up one of these as it was the only thing i could find for my Vitus 979 that wasn't vintage campy or something, and therefore broke the bank. Fit is perfect and the post looks great (very sleek and shiny). It's a bit heavy, but it's by no means a race grade part so no surprise there. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars is because it is not fluted like the one in the pic, just a milled alloy post with the saddle mount attached to one end. Kind of a bummer, since the fluted look is period correct for my Vitus, but for the price and the fact that it is long enough by far to accommodate even the tallest of riders in whatever application it is intended, I can't really bitch.

Just what I was looking for.
Feels solid and well-made, but is not overly heavy. Fit my 26.8 mm seat bracket perfectly. I used a hacksaw to cut off about 4 inches so I can lower the seat all the way to the seat post (for BMX racing). The post is a straight 26.8 mm it's whole length so you can get away with shortening it if you want. Has 1 allen bolt for adjusting tilt and tightening to seat rails.

Best post you can buy
I was surprised at the quality for such a low price. Very light and so adjustable. I didn't realize how adjustable until I saw the little ridges in the mounting hardware. You can fit this to any bike and any angle. The little dimples they put into the post will also keep it from slipping sideways. My clamp was always so tight and now I just flip it over and it holds. Highly recommend this. I have 2 extra posts now as this one is a keeper.

Closest Size to fit American Eagle Bike Seat Post Opening
I had received an old American Eagle Mountain Bike in great condition, but the original seat post was too short for my comfort. The original used a 24.8mm seat post which is extremely difficult to find locally or even via the web. Without much luck finding the same diameter seat post, I looked into finding a 25.0mm which led me to several brands. The Sunlite brand is one I am very familiar with and made my decision based on past experience. It's been a while now since I had installed the new seat post and has been working out very well.

Does as it should
It's light, it replaced the factory one with the useless shock absorber perfectly without the wobble and swivel of the original. Looks slick with the extra groves and stuff. Dork Force One does well with it.--------------update 11/21/2011---------------------------The seat keeps "slipping". I'll be crusin' along all of the sudden "snap" and my seat is now pointed in some direction other than level and my voice raises and octave or two. I've tightened the crap out of it and it keeps happening. I'm a heavyweight, not doubt, I'm over 250 lbs, doc says I'm the healthiest fat guy she ever saw, but I would expect this post to support anyone under 350 or so anyways.--------------update 05/13/2012---------------------------Replaced it a few weeks back with a Thomson. I still say this is a descent post for many people, but if you're a heavyweight you might want to look for something else.
