All Quiet on the Western Front (World War I)

I bought this youth version by mistake. But it would be a good story for a young person who wants a first look at the horrors of war.

Great intro of characters and plot with pictures before reading the novel.

Christmas gift

This is not the full novel "All Quiet On The Western Front". This is some sort of a children's book that is someone telling the story of the novel. I don't believe the description of the product told me that this was not the complete novel as I would not have bought it if it had. Very disappointed but didn't cost a fortune so I guess I will light my fireplace with it.

This isn't the actual book "All Quiet on the Western Front", but a children's version, or something. Anyway, I had to send mine back for a refund and buy the real book elsewhere. It'd be nice if this was more clearly noted in the description. Can't fault the seller for immediately refunding me though.

An OK introduction to this and other great works of literature, but often over simplistic and needed to be edited a lot more carefully. Ive bought a fair number of these texts and they've never really been as good as I have hoped. Shame really.
