Hohner 2504-C Comet 40 Harmonica, Key of C

Every note plays in octaves to give a nice rich sound, with two complete octaves: EgGbCdEfGaCbEdGfCaEb. (capital letter is blow, lower case is draw). Sound is very full and bright, plastic comb is very comfortable and the gold color with red comb and red lettering is visually striking. I would recommend this as a harmonica to use on occasion for effect, while using my standard and solo tuned diatonic harmonicas for everyday use.

This is very good. The sound it produces is melodious.It Provides two scales .. though I am not an expert player, I relly enjoy this.I would not recommend this to ameture players.as they cannot get the most of this. if you know how to play, this is a great product.

This is a great harmonica for playing old time tongue slap, or chord/ rhythm style. That is playing rhythm and melody at the same timeproviding self accompaniment. The sound is loud and full, and sounds like an accordion. This harmonica is best suited for lively folk tunes, and tunes that get your feet tapping. It is a very nice addition to whatever other harmonicas you may have..

The holes are arranged 20x2 with a top hole one octave below its bottom hole. This gives a much fuller sound when playing.

I was looking for a harmonica with a good blues sound. this Hohner 2504 Comet harmonica is similar to the other ones that I currently have, so will keep searching for the right one. It is very difficult purchasing these things when I can't blow them first.

THIS HARMONICA IS A STEP OR TWO ABOVE MANY WITH EASE OF PLAY WITH THE DOUBLE HOLES. THE SOUND IT PRODUCES EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATION. THE CURVED SHAPE MAKES IT VERY COMFORTABLE TO HOLD AND PLAY.
