I have multiple pairs of of LG riding shorts and I normally get size small. These were smaller than my other shorts and the shoulder straps also seemed short for me and I’m only 5’-5”. Once I moved up to a medium they fit well and are very comfortable on a 30 mile ride.

These are very comfortable. The padding allows me to go for long rides. They fit well and the legs don't ride up at all.

Comfortable bibs. Pad has good coverage. Overall good value. Don’t expect them to feel $200-300 bibs and you’ll be happy.

I am happy with these Louis Garneau, Men’s Fit Sensor 3 Cycling Bib Shorts. I had to send the first pair back (size L) because they were too tight. The size XL fit prefect. I am 5'10" and weigh 185.

Louis Garneau bib shorts has always been my favorite. Fit, padding, price. The pads do wear out. I'm good for about 1000 miles, after that there is a drop off in comfort.

Basic bib overall

At first I ordered the large based on the sizing chart and they were a bit baggy. For reference, I'm 6ft 175lbs 32" inseam and a 42" chest. I returned those and ordered the medium, and they fit tight to my skin. Chamois seems nice, no comment yet on how long they last. My performance elite bibs (L) lasted 3 years before the elastic started breaking so I have fairly high standards.
