The size of these filters is smaller than actually described on the ads: the width is measured 13 1/2" and the length is 23 1/2" and it would not fit into my AC return housing frame. I still have 6 filters which are not in use, it's still in a brand new condition and stored in plastic wrap.I am wondering could i return these filters and get refund or exchange.The reason it takes too long to notify you because i normally place an order the filter the months ahead before it run out. In addition i like to support the product made in USA that why i bought these filters from your company.

Other filters have the same discrepancy, so this is yes, a complaint about these filters, but you cannot buy a furnace filter without the same problem. The problem is the filters are always smaller than the stated dimensions. So they fit loosely in the wall or ceiling- mount frames. The problem with this is the potential for unfiltered air to bypass two sides of the filter altogether. There has to be some looseness of course but I see no reason (other than manufacturing economy) for an allowance of this magnitude.If the mfg reads this, why not explain it to us consumers. It would be appreciated.

Good price on a basic filter. My HVAC is older and doesn’t have the power for a more expensive, higher rated filter, and the same level filter costs significantly more at the big brick and mortar stores. The MERV rating works for what I need, as a much higher rated filter would reduce already low airflow in my house to almost nonexistent, and a minimally rated one just lets too many allergen-inducing particles through. It’s the balance my HVAC needs, if not what my allergies deserve, so in order to maintain airflow, I supplement with air purifiers around my house.This is my 3rd purchase of this pack and I’ll probably keep buying these until I replace my HVAC.

Bought these because of the convenient price compared to Honeywell hypoallergenic filters. Turns out that -as in most cases- you get what you pay for.The filter is slightly smaller than the advertised size, and it won't extend to fill the whole area of the filter hatch completely. This results in the filter going up and down when the A/C gets turned on.I always bought my filters at places like Home Depot, both expensive Honeywell and cheap fiberglass ones. All I had to remember was the 14x24x1 size, and they would fit perfectly. Never I had to deal with non-standard size and cheapness found in these filters (I can imagine that at high production volumes shaving some fraction of an inch of material results in more profit for the maker).Attached pictures showing size comparison with reputable air filters.Avoid.

Seemed like a great product until installation time. By the pictures you can see that the actual dimensions are not 14x24 but 13 3/8 x 23 3/8. I’m sure the manufacturer will claim its to increase comparability, but if you have a new furnace like mine expecting something more true to size, the filter will fall literally through the vertical filter stay channel and into the furnace cavity.I’d like that 40 minutes of my life back which I used trying to fish out the filter without damaging it. Even knowing the size issue, I could not get it to seat properly without easily losing it again. These are going back.

Be very cautious when ordering these. They are not 14x24x1 they are smaller. It is a shame because they seem like well made filters, they just cheapened them up by shrinking them. They do not fit my returns and I hear the this as my HVAC shuts off and the filters fall out of the return against the vent cover. The actual size of these filters are 13-3/8 x 23-3/8 x 3/4 as printed on the side of the filter. Obviously not shown in the photos.

I checked multiple sources and this is one of the best rated filters for your home. MERV 8 is recommended for most houses and while there are higher MERV valued filters, some can actually cause problems (air constriction), s I went with this recommendation. After unpacking, they are clearly high quality filters. I installed them and immediately noticed how much quieter they were than my previous filters. I assume that has to do with airflow. Overall great value for the price.

It's 5/8 inches short of the size listed! Do not buy unless you're either willing to make some kind of extra gap filler or you actually have a filter that's smaller than normal.
