Needed this when playing some vinyl records at a party. The light helped me to view and read the record label. As the torch incorporates a magnifying glass, I did not have to worry about putting on and taking off my reading glasses every time. Therefore, it was ideal for the job. I can see other ways the magnifying glass & torch can help. Like when doing DIY work, assembling a product and you have to locate tiny pre-drilled holes. Has a good grip and size so offers a good view. I also liked that it is lightweight so not heavy to hold. Will definitely recommend :)

This is a very sturdy and relatively high-quality magnifying glass made of plastic. It arrived as promised and was packaged well. The product itself is nice looking, as magnifying glasses go. The LED lights are very helpful and the magnification is strong, so will certainly help me read instructions. As I hope to carry it around in my handbag (I'm not really planning on being a detective!), the only downside for me was its weight (although I'm sure this was probably specified in the advert, I just didn't think about it). To be able to relate to the weight it's about the weight of a can of 330ml coke.

I bought one of these magnifying glasses for myself a while back. It doesn't magnify 30x, but then I hadn't really expected it to, however it does magnify quite a bit more than your average magnifying glass, which probably only does about 3x.I showed a friend of mine, whose eyesight is severely limited, and she was so excited that she could see writing on a letter, etc. I ordered one for her and she loves it.

Love this and has come in handy most days. The LED lights are bright and perfect for trying to read something on a darker background or for close work

Item is good quality and does exactly what it sys on the tin

Got this for my mum for reading it's a little heavy for that but good for reading cooking instructions, also the on button is a bit stiff for arthritic fingers but hopefully it will loosen over time.

The lighting is excellent and the view quite clear with little distortion, and the ring of LEDs give good bright illumination, The claimed 30X magnification does not seem to give an image 30 times larger than that of the target - that would require a proper microscope - but it certainly brings things up much closer. I have three of these, and the switches for the lighting is a bit stiff to operate on two and very stiff and intermittent on the third - it is faulty so I will be returning it for a refund. With the batteries inserted it is quite heavy but not unwieldy and fairly easy to hold.

Got this for my husband whose sight is deteriorating fast. It’s amazing definitely does the job. Great value for money and gives my husband a chance to read the menu if we go for a meal which is great. Would definitely recommend this item
