Keds Women's Double Up Core Fashion Sneaker

As a life-long fan of these classic and adorable sneakers, I was happy to find solid black Keds in my size and at a great price on Amazon! For the most part they are super comfortable. Of course, just like any new shoes, you want to "break them in". I wore them for several hours over a few days with no issues. My only issue is that there seems to be a strange seam inside the shoe, next to the little toe. Wearing the shoes for light walking over about four hours resulted in a decent blister on my toe. I was wearing thin "no-show" socks so maybe I should have worn thicker socks but that hasn't been an issue with other Keds shoes in the past. Perhaps I just got a weird pair? This was not enough of a problem to make me want to return the shoes, but for the sake of an honest review, I did subtract a star. I will be wearing thicker socks for at least a while.

I love this syle of keds and am replacing an old pair that is on the last mile. Although the size is the same, the color is different (old pair was white with a red stripe) and even the style--this pair is a bit narrower in the toe. But it is easy enough to add another sock.One of the things I love about this style is that the shoes come with two pairs of laces so you can change colors if you like. The white pair with a red stripe have a pair of red laces (they did raise some eyebrows but I wear them that way during the holidays). This pair comes with one pair white (classic look) and one pair black (very cool).

These are my first pair of Keds I've owned. I purchased the Double Ups in my usual size 9 and they were crushing my toes when I put them on. The width seems fine, but length definitely runs small. Maybe if you're one of those people who don't wear socks with your shoes it might work, but with any sock at all they're too small. I returned the sneakers for a half size up and the 9.5 works well. I wish the opening was a little smaller around the ankle. My foot seems to try and pull out when walking and they definitely don't hug securely on my feet like Converse sneakers do. I do like the looks of them and comfort now that I have the right size. I especially like the black sole since the white gets dirty too quickly and then looks terrible (I only use my Converse now for mowing the lawn). Overall they seem like a good, comfy sneaker, just a little small if you don't size up.

This is a beautiful sneaker and a great shoe for the money, comparable to sneakers at 2-3 times the price. The white one comes with 2 pairs of laces, 1 white and 1 red. It just doesn't fit ME in the toebox. I need a medium+ (not wide) space for my toes and this is just short of being wide enough. The overall size (8.5B) fit fine; just this one detail caused me to return it. It has a little arch support, not enough for my high arches, but I have to add insoles to ALL of my shoes, so this wouldn't have caused a return.

but I am going to keep them and not use my ortho supports with them. They will not be worn often but they fit well enough to keep and wear for July 4th and special occasions. They are very comfortable, do not lace up too high and give adequate arch support though not quite as well as the Grasshopper styles I wear. I remember seeing "Deborah" wear this style on "Everyone Loves Raymond" re runs in the navy color and thought at the time they were so cute ! For the average wearer who does not have the ortho support insert issue, these will be perfect and SO cute !!! The red is what I ordered.

I like my red keds.Use to wear these alot growing up as a child. The only thing I dislike is make my feet look so big,lol:)I order a 9 because that is what I normally buy but these are a little to big so on that note try order half size smaller. One of my foot is bigger then thee other so,I am happy it fit on one foot and I can live with it.

These shoes are very cute , but while they do not hurt in any way, they are just not that comfortable if you will be standing or walking a lot all day.They are a tad too narrow for my feet and I wish they had come in a wide width. I like that they came with both red and white laces and that they don't have the white rubber toe like the Converse shoes.

Great shoes! Bought these in a size 11 for my daughter. She likes them because they don't look like size 11 when she has them on. Very attractive and in my opinion they are cuter than Converse ;) They even came with red shoe strings but my daughter is using the white for now but plans to switch out for red when they have spirit day at school (our school colors are black and red). Great purchase, great price on Amazon. Love!

Beaux, stylisés, elle se sent comme une ado!Je porte moi-même des Keds et je dois dire que j'en raffole!J'ai enlevé une étoile pour la partie sensible du talon irritée par le tissus de la chaussure. Ça manque de coussinage. Je suggère d'appliquer un coussinet autocollant pour plus de confort ou de traîner des plasters dans votre sac à main si vous prévoyez marcher un peu.

I'm usually a 7W for shoes but purchased a 7.5 instead. Even with the laces relaxed, it's still a little narrow for me.Shoe is a lower cut than expected and exposes a lot of the sock (ankle socks). I ended up using socks for flats with these shoes but they usually just slide off.Bought Keds thinking that name brand would be comfortable but by mid-afternoon, my knees felt very tired (sign of lack of support/cushion in the shoe)
