I am very happy with the product, it arrived safely and just as described. Also I received a email from the C.S. team of the seller to let me know that they had been receiving notices about their product arriving in a damaged state after being shipped and to contact them right away if that happened with me. But as I stated mine came through just fine, and you could see that they took care in shipping my frames out to me so kudos to the seller for doing a good job and being pro-active! Now as to the quality of the frames themselves, very well made and the plastic see-through protective plate for the poster is well fitting and was protected itself by the standard blue static cling plastic that is normally found on it. Even after removing the blue wrap the plastic sheets were without scratches or any noticable flaws, which I was very happy to see. The whole of each frame (2-pack) were also wrapped and protected from scrapes and scuffs durring shipping. Really all one needs to do after removing all the plastic wrap from the frames is to dust them as all that static build-up from removing the plastic wrap will attract it big time. One more item of the frames I really liked is the backing clamps of the backboard, this was a good idea and works fairly well. The reason I say fairly is that I found on 'both' frames that I had to press down on the backing board lightly and lift the frame edge up with my other hand to allow the clip edge of the clamp to get back under the frame edge. Please note that this is not the case with every clamp, some can be just swiveled back under the frame with no problem. Either way it is a nice design feature and I am happy with it. So now my two posters are displayed with class on my den wall, each one looks fantastic. I would suggest using (Ook-Hooks) for hanging the frames as they are not light and the Ook hooks are sold by pound limits they will hold making it easy for mounting on dry-wall.

In fact, given the options for relatively inexpensive poster frames, these are more than adequate. Don't waste your money on the ones half this price. The actual frames are plastic but the corners are held internally by 90 degree metal braces, so they work pretty well. The backing is solid enough particle material (like Masonite), and the clip system is very effective at holding the back to the frame. In short, they're not an embarrassment to hang on the wall. I needed 9 of these for displaying reproduction movie posters, 6 in the stairway leading to my media room and 3 on the walls of the room. Honestly, I was reluctant to buy these because of all the comments about them arriving broken. I did it anyway. Of the 9 I received, 3 were broken and had to be returned and reordered. Returning the three damaged frames required paperwork, boxing, labeling, and dropping off at a UPS store. No charge to return the damaged items, but obviously a bit of a hassle. I haven't received the reorder yet, but if the ratio holds true, one of them will be damaged. BTW, I tried to find similar frames locally, looking in 5 different stores (big box Dept. stores and fabric/art/craft stores). These from Amazon are still the best choice for me.

Initially, I thought the price was a bit steep for simple frames, but decided that I would rather spend more money than risk:1. Frames falling from wall2. Posters getting damaged3. Frustration in trying to fit the poster into the frameThese are sturdy and easy to hang. The back cardboard is thick and the clips that hold the back to the frame are the best I've ever seen. They aren't the cheap clips that break when you bend them.This comes in a 2-pack, and I only purchased one thus far. Now that I know these are the bomb dot com, I'll be buying more. I’m not sure where all the negative comments Come from but I was very pleased with these frames they were well packed, which must be based on feedback from previous buyers, and the frames themselves were very solid once you installed your poster and clipped it in securely. Like others, I found that the mounting hooks are not either evenly spaced are at even Heights. This can be a pain if you are not particularly handy. That being said, they were sturdy, fit my posters perfectly, and look wonderful displaying them on my walls.

I've made the mistake in the past of buying the cheapest poster frames I can find, which wound up being little more than thin plastic tubing around a plastic sheet and a cardboard back with a glued-on hook. These are of significantly higher quality, made of much thicker backing, a solid, decent-looking frame, and riveted hangers. The swivel tabs are easy to work with in removing the back and inserting your poster of choice, and even though the materials make for a much stouter package, the frames can still be hung on a basic 3M sticky-hook. The regular price for a single is a little steep, but if you have a couple of things to hang, the 2-pack is a great deal--you basically pay a couple dollars more than the crappy ones I described earlier, and you get something that doesn't look like hot garbage.

Feels a bit cheaper than it should. Glad I only have to put stuff in it once, would not want to be opening and closing the frame more than once!
