Hiragana flashcards are excellent
This set of Japanese hiragana flash cards is just what i needed for my Japanese class! They are the size of a deck of playing cards, heavy duty but easily shuffled. They contain all 104 Japanese hiragana characters, including those with diacritical marks and compound chacters. On one side of each card is a character in large size, easy to read. On the other side is the romaji pronunciation of the character, a diagram of the stroke order, the corresponding katakana character, a kanji for the character, and several words using the character, written in kanji, hiragana, romaji, with an English definition.Really useful!CPG

They Sped My Learning Along
These cards were great for taking my first steps I to Hiragana and Katakana (I bought both sets separately.)They're a good card stock, easy to read, and having the other alphabet symbol on the back of the card was very helpful. If you're curious about starting to learn Japanese and flashcards are your preferred way of memorization, these should be your next purchase!

Tad expensive but high quality & great design. A must have for tactile learners who are memorizing kana.
I'm a very tactile learner who wasn't having much luck with digital flashcards, Duolingo, etc. These did the trick perfectly! They also came with a helpful and well laid-out hiragana chart that helped immensely with learning the diacritic and digraph kana as it intuitively shows their relationship to the base characters (though you can also find this online for free).Everything you could ask for from a flashcard:> Useful info, including stroke order, example words, and the original kanji that the character is derived from.> Clean and easy-to-read font but retains good detail.> Durable, easy-to-handle laminated card-stock. Seems to be stain- and water-resistant.Only downside is the somewhat high price tag.

Best you can get!
I have spent so much time trying to find accurate and functional Hiragana flash cards and finally decided to go with these. They were double the price of all the other sets. Was it worth it? Totally- have no regrets. The layout is simple and I find whether you think you memorized it or not, your brain stores it. On the back you get vocabulary with the symbol; how to properly write the symbols. Instead of spending hours looking for another brand, next time I’ll stick with this one.

Useful
I've found these cards very useful. I like that the cards include the characters with dakuten and glides. The example words on the back (or a comment that words do not start with the character) help with memorization.I took a star off for the box they come in. The cards were so very tightly packed, I had to tear the box to get them out (which wasn't hard; it's not sturdy.) It would be better if they came in a box you could store them in. If you're going to be routinely putting them in a backpack, you may want to purchase a separate card deck box. Though you'd think for the price, the one included would be useable.

Great for starting out
These have been very helpful with learning the basic japanese characters. Good build quality, similar to a standard deck of playing cards. Should last a long time if not abused.

Thoughtfully designed and feature packed
My work schedule has been crazy the past two days and I woke up and got a notification these cards were delivered as I was sleeping the night before. To my surprise there was no damaged from the morning dew too these cards because hoe exceptionally well they were packaged. The case is nice and usable to carry them inside a pack and not worry about them falling out because the case is like one for playing cards and doesn’t separate like an iPhone case does. Each card has the Hirigana, Katakana, as well as Kanji on each! With three words on each card and 104 Hitrigana characters, you’re also getting 312 vocabulary words with this purchase. Hirigana is only featured on one side which helps to quiz yourself. These cards are a must for someone studying correct brushstroke and trying to take in as much as possible. SUPER GREAT VALUE!!!!!
