Recently I’ve been slacking:/ but I now know all my hiragana! I used this to practice and another book. I took notes on a journal using Mr. Moku! Plus another app.

I use it every day. I'm using copy paper to save the pages. Over all very happy with my purchase.

This is the best Japanese writing practice book that I have found - and I've purchased many...It is a very sturdy, well made book, with excellent, easy to follow instructions that, with alittle daily work, will make it possible to master the kana. I was never satisfied with my effortsto write Japanese script before, but with continued guidance from this manual I've finallymet the standards my tutor demands.The book contains much more than just the kana, including at least 800 vocabulary words.At a price of about $9.OO , you can't go wrong.I also recommend the Genkouyoushi Notebook by the same publisher.

This book has really helped me practice my penmanship and tested my reading skills. Would recommend to friends.

This book gets the reader to write Japanese characters right away even though they may not know what they translate into English. If you skip days of practice, you or at least myself, will lose that knowledge. It will require months of reading and practice to make it to the end of the book. Stick with the practice, as sleeping with the book under your pillow at night will not improve your knowledge of the Japanese language.

I begun practicing writing the calligraphic portions of the language back in Summer of 2021 in hopes to help me memorize and work out the kinks in my handwriting.So far, almost a year later, I've put this product to good use and filled a good portion of the pages until satisfied with my results.Although there's bound to be issues with the product, I have yet to find them.

This is all kana and katakana. I thought there was writing practice for the kanji when I ordered the book. It's fine for what it is, and we do need the help with the katakana. Kanji forms are present when available, but no stroke orders. I like the format of the book. Each word spelled out in kana, romaji and kanji where applicable. Definition is there and the practice space for writing. There are charts for both hirigana and katakana at the beginning. Practice begins with learning each character and then moving on to actual words. Very pleased with the amount of vocabulary. The addition of words in katakana is an added bonus.Not everything I though it was going to be, but it's still a pretty good learning tool as is. Similar materials cost considerably more. Very pleased with this purchase.
