Refresh Glass Recycled Wine Bottle Glasses, 16oz set (Amber)

These are lovely, and I love using them. They aren't heavy, but they have a satisfying heft to them. The sides are also nicely thick, so they don't feel super fragile. They feel artisan and expensive. Only downside I didn't consider: if you put them upside down in the dishwasher, the little divet in the bottom collects water, which you always have to pour out when you pull them out. That's not the end of the world, but if your dishwasher isn't amazing, that can leave a light residue from soap settling in it. All this means is I have to wipe off the bottoms of water and residue when I pull them out. That said, I'd happily buy them again!

Love these glasses! I originally bought a 4 piece set of these glasses from West Elm about 5 years ago. I wanted more than 4 glasses but West Elm no longer carries them. So glad to find them on Amazon. The glasses have a unique rustic look - they are old wine bottles but they don’t feel too heavy in your hand. They hold up great in the dishwasher and are very sturdy. Side-by-side, these look the same at the West Elm ones. They look great and are a fun talking piece for dinner parties. Very pleased with this purchase.

These glasses are great. The rim is really smooth and they are sturdy enough for kids. We haven't actually dropped any yet, but I'm optimistic they'll hold up. If you suffer from JND (just noticable difference) you'll probably be turned off by the varying widths. Since they are all the same height, and the whole wine bottle thing, I'm okay with it, but it was pretty glaring. I'm back to purchase more, though, so clearly not a deal breaker for me. They were very well, packaged and shipped, so kudos to the seller.

These are great! They're sturdy and nice looking. They vary slightly in diameter. The one thing I don't like is the big bottle depression at the bottom. It fills with water in the dishwasher and needs to be poured out.

These recycled wine bottle glasses are beautiful and hold up well in our crazy kid filled house. I do think that after a few years of constant use and dishwasher they break easier than when I first purchased (my first set), but they are reasonably priced and easy to replace. We have the large and medium sizes and they hold quite a bit and fit into your hand comfortably.

got these glasses to give as presents. they are beautiful (tho note that the teal color is VERY dark) and VERY high quality (i own a number of recycled wine bottle glasses and these are BY FAR the nicest...the drinking edge is very smooth and rounded off). i glass etched images onto each glass and they turned out perfectly! my set of four matched exactly in size and color...and it makes me happy to think that these were kept out of the landfill! i couldn't be more pleased!!

I highly recommend this glassware. Since these glasses had previous lives as wine bottles, they are very sturdy up to the rim unlike most other glassware. While each glass is made out of a similar wine bottle, the bottoms slightly vary making them unique. Very cool effect.Additionally, I was accidently shipped the wrong color and the seller, Refresh Glass, bent over backwards to assist me. They are a great company that stand behind their product and their service, which is a rarity these days. Very refreshing indeed!

I really enjoy these glasses. They have a sturdy heft to them, have beautiful colors, and can both look great for a casual meal, or upscale meal. Do not expect that each glass will look alike, as each comes from a different type of wine bottle, which adds to its charm.
