Trichlor (Trichloroisocyanuric acid) is the strongest compressed chlorine and provides 90-percent available chlorine. Great for a prolonged and steady feed of chlorine to maintain a chlorine residual. Trichlor is stabilized to protect the chlorine from the ultraviolet rays of the sun. This prolongs the life of the chlorine and gives you a healthy swimming environment and cost you less to maintain the proper chlorine residual. 1-inch tablets expose more surface area per pound than 3-inch tabs or sticks for the fastest dissolution rate. Trichlor has a lower pH than many forms of chlorine and may reduce the amount of acid used.

Film and cloudy water
we've used the 3" tablets before many times by a different brand/seller. these dissolve extremely slow, even in high heat so I keep having to add more and on top of that, ever since we've started using them our pool has a slight film on top of the water and it gets cloudy about every 3-4 days. I feel like I can't get the chlorine dissolve quick enough so my chlorine levels remain low, but if i put one in the skimmer, which you aren't supposed to do, then they work better? Just takes so much more time keeping up with the chemical balancing. great price, guess you get what you pay for. Will not buy these again and would not recommend!

Works Great and A Great Price
Works well to keep my swimming pool clean and sparkle, I like the individually wrapped tablets only been using for 2 months, no issues. I use the 3" pucks in a floater for my in ground pool (stopped years ago using the automatic dispenser as it used up the tablets very fast) the floaters work great and saves me money! Tablets great price!

Lasts a normal amount of time. I like that they are individually wrapped. Several were broken, that's where the wrapping was appreciated. Its the best price for the pounds you get.

easy to use - individually wrapped tablets keeps smell down
the container i rec'd didn't look like this picture - the safety opening mechanism is very easy to use though. I really need the individually wrapped tablets b/c the smell of chlorine really gets to me - these are easy to open little wrappers - perfect.

These crumble easily and it seems to require more tablets for the same chlorine level as I was used to getting with another brand.
