My dogs are definitely having an easier time in their old age since I started them on Welactin. I can see that they are more mobile, and it seems like they have less pain getting around. The box comes with a small measuring spoon, but I ditched that after counting how long it took me to fill the spoon to their prescribed amount, and now I just squirt the oil directly onto their food for a four-second count. This makes it so I do not have to clean the spoon every day.So, my dogs love this product, and I love how it has helped them, but my only gripe is the flip top for pouring the oil. My first bottle had a top that you opened completely, and it was connected on one edge. The inner cap had a hole in the center, so I could dispense the oil and then flip the top back on to store the bottle. It was nice and easy, and there was no spillage or dripping during the pouring process. My latest bottle has a top where you push down on one end of the cap, and the cap opens on an angle. The oil comes out on the one side of the cap instead of from the middle like my previous bottle, and I have found that this causes a lot more dripping when I pour the oil into their food. I now have to rinse the bottle every night, which is wasting product and causing a bit of a mess. I will continue to order Welactin, as it has made a big difference for my pugs, but I hope to get the old cap next time. If i do, I will keep it for any future bottles that come with the angled dispensing cap.

My feedback is really positive because this Omega 3 fish oil seems to do a good job. Supports heart, brain, and skin health, which I wanted. The ingredients feel high quality, and my dog seems to enjoy it. Only wish the bottle lasted longer. Overall, a great addition to my dog's diet.

Bought this for my dog’s joints and it works well. My dog doesn’t get those flare ups anymore. 5 stars for its effectiveness. However, the new bottle is terrible. It leaks more than the previous bottle. I have to put a napkin around it and it’ll still leak from under the cap (which is tightly screwed on). At this point I might have to buy my own oil dispenser cause this is just too messy. Also, pressing down on the cap is annoying, and oil will secrete from the “press down” side as well.

Does it work? Yes, absolutely. I got this for my senior dog’s skin and bones. He has aging joints and his hot spots this spring/summer have been terrible. But after a month of use, I am starting to see both symptoms decline.The bad: all the reviews about the bottle being a pain are true. Each time you pour a dose, at least a drop or two leak out and make a mess of the top. And it’s oil, so it doesn’t clean well and is wasteful of the product itself.All in all, I love the product itself and may just look for it in a different form.

We gave this to our first dog at our vet’s recommendation once he turned 9 to support his joints. He’s loved it and it seemed to keep him mobile and made his coat nice. We also use it for our current pup who was a scrungly little rescue with missing hair and arthritis and now his coat looks so nice people compliment it all the time. He also loves the taste. The only very small downside is sometimes they get fishy burps.
