Modification necessary for Crest pontoon

Just want to give Crest pontoon owners a heads up. We use Crest pontoons at our marina and have a Crest Classic with a Mercury 250hp. The original tow bar was ruined and we decided to go with the Giant turboswing towbar as we were told it would work just fine. We found out it will work but not without some modification to the stern area of the boat. I have attached a picture to show you what I mean. So far it appears to work fine however it would have been nice to know modifications would be necessary.
