I bought this for a salesman who is on the road all the time instead of getting him a desktop monitor. The vertical option this monitor presents is what set this apart from the others. Upon receiving I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, very solid but also thin. However, the fact that it can work with a one-cable setup is king. Setup is super easy and voila you have a second monitor. The vertical orientation is especially great for excel or word documents. It does exactly what I needed it for and thus it gets 5 stars from me. The only way this could be improved is a touchscreen!Also, notice the screen ratio is different on the 16" as it is optimized for vertical documents. Nice touch

The build quality of the monitor is good for the most part and the display is good. It could be brighter and sharper. The thumb wheel control is very tiny and hard to use. The manual is awful. If you are going to sell products in the U.S., shell out $100 to get someone to write the manual in real English without made up words and crazy grammar. The manual also has multiple warnings that the screen has a limited lifetime. That basically tells me that the display will be losing pixels on an on-going basis.4/26. I am updating my review after Ayy reached out to me multiple times to rectify the problem with the thumb wheel and brightness and a promise to improve their manual with better English and clearer instructions.

So far I’m very happy with this monitor. It’s for my home office. The only cable I use is the included USB C to my laptop. It gives me much more room to work and is easy to use. Colors and brightness are good, once adjusted. No dead pixels. I love switching between horizontal and vertical modes. And I really like that it has a stand instead of a foldable cover to hold it up. A cover is so much more clunky. And I have a small desk. This fits perfectly for me in a tight space. However, if you want to be portable, this doesn’t come with a protective cover. So think about how you plan to use the monitor. Mine will always be in my home office. So it was the right choice.

I initially loved this monitor; its built-in stand, easy controls, nice picture, good size, and viewing until, sadly, the unit showed its true colors.The stand is flimsy and broke on me while traveling. Not a huge deal, except it's also where everything gets plugged in, and it is not user serviceable. So now I have a dangling stand and a very NON-portable monitor. I could live with it breaking if it was user serviceable, but as I mentioned before, that is not the case.I was already sad that the monitor did not come with a case or something to protect the screen when traveling. But this shows that the monitor is not good for traveling, and buyers should beware of this point.AYY, I purchased this in November, just three months ago. What are my options? How can we make this better so I can raise my review?Update: March 2023: I received a replacement monitor. I had to follow up with AYY more than I would have liked, but in the end, I got the replacement monitor and am quite happy. I love the monitor, just disliked that the "stand" was not as strong as I would have preferred. Five stars for a good product and customer service.I would still like to see a case/cover that makes it safer to travel with the monitor, and I would even pay for one if offered. External monitors are a WONDERFUL thing for those who travel, and the device must be strong enough to withstand the rigors involved.I would also like to see either a front mounted or app control for brightness. The default settings are way too dim.

I had an Asus zenscreen that was $209 dollars from best buy and I returned it once I got this monitor. The quality was the same but better. The body appeared to be a sleek aluminum and it had more ports and the visuals was the same as the Asus Zenscreen. I was surprised since this is not a popular brand. I am specifically talking about the 16.1 monitor and I was not sure if bigger is better but I'm glad I got the bigger screen. It's not too far off from a 15.6 inch screen but that extra size makes a big difference when multi tasking and playing games. I can watch YouTube on one side and job search on the other. The speakers are worst than a cell phone but better than nothing. I usually play sounds from my laptop or tablet. I should mention that I have a tablet s7 11 inch and was able to have it on the monitors without any addiction power, just one usb C. I did not expect that becuase I figured do to it being a bigger 16.1 screen that it would need more power but it can function with my tablet alone. The only thing I wish this had was auto rotation for phones in vertical mode. I know it can do it for PC but it would have been awesome if it did that with my tablet. I did not subtract a star for that becuase I'm sure other monitors lack auto rotation. By the way the hinge on the back is very stiff and solid witch is good considering all the ports are there. That was a worry that I had but was pleasantly surprises of the solid aluminum build. I only had this for one week and I just hope it last a long time but so far it's 5 stars from me. Great product and at a great price 👍🏽

The physical quality of the monitor felt fine but the menu button/wheel on the back is completely cheap and a horrible design. Took me 45 minutes to figure out how to get the screen to not be dark as hell and it turns out you have to have the monitor plugged in to the wall and the hdmi cord connected to the machine just to be able to adjust the brightness. The USB C isn't enough. Not only that, but adjusting the brightness is a pain in the rear and you have to do it every single time you plug it in. It doesn't save the setting because it can't manage being bright enough for humans without the gauntlet of cords hooked up to it. All in all, this is another piece of poorly made tech trash I've received from Amazon. I really wish they had better quality control on the products they sell on here. I'm returning my monitor and getting a brand name one from Best Buy instead. What a joke. My "portable monitor" should not require as many or more cords than my desktop at home setup does.

Llevo una semana con la pantalla, funciona excelente hasta ahora sin ningún problema y con mi laptop funciona solo con el usb-c para darle toda la corriente necesaria y la imagen sin problema

Avevo bisogno di un monitor aggiuntivo per poter lavorare e dopo varie ricerche mi sono imbattuto in questo prodotto. Non conoscendo il produttore all'inizio ero scettico e invece sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso.Arrivato nei tempi previsti (non cerano dubbi) una volta aperto il pacco ho trovato una bellissima confezione.All'interno si possono trovare prese, adattatori vari (USB, USB C, HDMI e quella per l'alimentazione) e le istruzioni in inglese ma di facile comprensione. Si può utilizzare anche in verticale (non ruota automaticamente ma si deve impostare tramite le impostazioni di sistema), ha varie calibrazioni e si autoalimenta se collegato direttamente con la USB C. Se invece si vuole collegare l'HDMI si deve alimentare tramite la presa di corrente. si può utilizzare con smartphone e videogame sempre collegandolo alla presa di corrente. Per ora mi sento di consigliarlo a chi vuole un monitor leggero da poter portare infilare nella borsa insieme al computer senza spendere cifre folli

Sehr portabler, echt dünner Monitor, dabei recht hell und mit OKem Monolautsprecher in der Stütze. Mir gefällt die schlanke, zum Transport wegklappbare, Stütze mit den Verbindungsbuchsen. Der Wippknopf ist wahlweise für Helligkeit und Lautstärke, muss man erstmal rausfinden (kurz reindrücken zum Wechseln). Ich verbinde es mit Laptop über HDMI oder mit Samsung S20 Handy über USB-C-Kabel, einziges Manko dabei: Handybildschirm wird immer hochkant im Landscapemodus-Monitor angezeigt (also nur im mittleren Drittel), auch wenn ich diesen Monitor hochkant drehe, also der Monitor hat offenbar keinen Ausrichtungssensor, aber sonst alles problemlos. Bin zufrieden!

El producto es bueno a secas. La resolucion es a 1080p pero parecieran 720p. Su brillo pues aceptable. El precio es alto para lo que es. Su precio debería rondar entre $3000 y $3500. El precio publicado es inferior al que te cobran pues te suman impuestos. El producto puede funcionar sin conectarlo a una fuente de energia si la fuente emisora de imagen lo hace, pero no puedes aumentar brillo ni usar sonido en ese modo, ya si usas mas brillo y sonido es obligatorio el uso de energia. Con smartphone Samsung con DEX como el note 10 plus o similares lo soporta nadamas conectandolo.
