Works for what I needed
Needed for my Sentry gun safe to replace the OEM piece that failed. Works perfect. A little tight - had to compress about 1/16” to get the set screw to align but that’s all.

It may take a bit of measuring & a bit of trial & error, but they work well & are a good value. Well worth the effort.

Instructions are wrong but they work
As some other reviewers have said, the instructions are wrong. The instructions on the plastic bag contradict the instructions that are on the inside of the packaging. Either way the dimensions were incorrect. Those dimensions were for a much longer strut. Luckily I was able to figure it out and I'm including some pictures of the measurements that work for me. You'll notice in the photo that the instructions say to mount it 240 mm away from the top, but that is longer than the entire dimension of the strut.

Excellent quality
I installed on a large fish tank canopy lid. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I believe this product would’ve been better served if they made both mounting ends reversible or interchangeable.

Worked great
They were very sturdy and very easy to put in. I used them in my cabinets in my motorhome and worked better than the ones I replaced!
