Inexpensive Laptop Battery for Dell Laptop
The installation was very simple. Seems to work well. It had 60% charge and charged to full. I haven't tested its performance yet.

Replacement Battery
Fits great and works as it should. I have an old computer but it does what I need to do. Last battery from a different source lasted about 3 years daily use. So far this battery fit and charged as it should. I believe that old weak old batteries that won't hold a charge put an unnecessary stress on the charging systems in much the same way that old car batteries do.

It really will fit
When I first tried to install the battery I thought that it didn't fit. Yet when I compared it to my old batter they appeared to be identical in size. But the new one didn't seem to want to go in. To make sure that I was doing it right I put the old battery in and out a few times. It went in easily without any trouble. Finally I used some force on the new battery and it went indeed did go in. By the way, it came partially charged and completed the charge in the computer in a few hours.

Won't power on the laptop
I bought this in December and thought it was working great but it isn't.When unplugged while running, the laptop runs well on battery, but when I try to cold boot, it fails to boot. My guess is that it doesn't support the necessary inrush current on power up.Unfortunately, I hadn't tried the cold boot for months as it's been on my desk the whole time. Last month I went to use the laptop at the table and the battery couldn't power in the system.

This battery gave new life to my 10-year old computer
My old laptop's battery died a couple of years ago, so I stopped using it. However, I needed to info access information I had stored on that computer, but I was unable to get past the "you need a new battery" screen to access the machine. So I bought this replacement battery. It took me about 5 minutes to unwrap the battery and place it in the slot. (No disassembly or screwdriver required.) Immediately, the battery worked and I was able to access the data on the computer. It charged with my OEM Dell charger to a full charge that lasts a couple of hours depending upon what I'm doing. Although I have a newer computer, I'm now using the old one to watch DVDs on the go or surf the internet wirelessly at public wifi without worry. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner.
