Inducore Non-Stick Stainless Steel Skillet, 8-Inch, Small

Great pans at a great price! I bought and loved the 8" so promptly ordered the 9.5" I have used these daily for several months and, like most folks, I burn things every now and then. Not a problem with these pans; they clean easily and look like new. For stubborn spots I use a little baking soda with my dish liquid. I'm tickled that these pans cook well, look great, and are easy to care for. I use them on my Cusimax induction cooktop. (See my 5-star review there.) I have compared the quality of these pans with similar ones at retail stores and these are an excellent value.The Inducore non-stick surface is ingenious. If you look closely at one of Amazon's pics above you see tiny "dots" inside each "cell" of the honeycomb pattern on the pan's inside surface. They and the honeycomb are in very slight relief (durning manufacturing) and the durable non-stick material is introduced and (I presume) machined flush with surface of raised pattern. The exposed metal honey comb and dots protect the non-stick material from being gouged by metal utensils.I have shunned non-stick pans but took a chance on these and couldn't be happier......although I'd be even more thrilled if the bottoms of the skillets were laminated with a thick heat-spreading material. Still, the heat is pretty well distributed by these pans. A few other comments: the handles are "round" and not "flat" like the handles of many premium pans. The heft feels good, looks great, and fits well in the hand. Also, the diameter listed measures inside the lip of the pan. For example my 8" pan is actually 8 3/8" diameter edge to edge. Want lids for these? If you want to buy more pots and pans (as I did) the lids for the Hot Dots Cookware set by the same manufacturer fits my the skillets. (FYI - these do not have the Inducore surface but do have the thick, laminated bottoms. In addition, the appearance of the Hot Dots and the skillets listed nearly identical but the handles differ a bit.) Without obsessive care, I expect these skillets to maintain their appearance and performance for a lifetime.

The non-stick surface with its fine raised hexagonal pattern of stainless steel simply does not work. From the very beginning, fried eggs stuck, as well as almost everything else you heat in it. Even frying sausage results in multiple little areas of crusty remnants. It's also too expensive, even if it did work as advertised.

Food sticks if not on bottom of pan. Very hard to clean.

Nice pan, but have to use spray or will stick.

this pan is bad for cooking for need to scrub residue from bottom of pan about 50 times before use or gray stain gets in your food!! I would not buy this product if it was free !!

Simply the best pan I've ever had. Throw that teflon away this is the only way to go- no harmful chemicals

Love the heft and good quality of yhis pan. I also like that the non-stick portion is only on the bottom.
