I brought this for my laptop to be able to get more stable internet when streaming games. The first time I got it, I did a speed test and got the full amount of speed. However, after like an hour of using, I saw the device was getting very hot and the speeds were dipping down. I contacted the customer service and told them about my issue. At first, they were being a bit rude and not understanding my issue, however, in the end they send me a replacement.I can say the replacement also gets a bit hot but the speeds don't get reduce as much. Therefore, at the moment, I have to keep on switching between the two devices every an hour or so.I recommend it if you are looking to add this for a small bandwidth device.

Quailty product that works as required. Full 1GB speeds and feels well made. Highly recommended especially at this price.

I needed to transfer some movies to my iPad for easier offline viewing.In truth I had a USB C hub and an existing USB to ethernet adaptor but it was a log of extra cables and I wanted a tidy one device solutionThis option was ideal as it was compact, designed well (matches my Space Grey iPad Pro) and worked exactly as described.My home is fully networked so cables are easy to access. Obviously Wifi is great (I even have Wifi 6) but nothing really beats a hardwired connected for large data transfersReally happy with this and would highly recommend for anyone needing similarAs you can see from my images the cable connects as full gigabit.

Does what it says on the tin. It even works when plugged into the USB C dock that I have to convert the USB C’s to normal USB’s.The power and data lights on the port are nice too.
