I like that she explains how to use the book. It is laid out as a 30 day guide, but you may look for day that speak to you, or repeat days as you need. I gave this book the highest rating because it helped me so much.

St. Theresa of Avila is offered in this daily meditation book in a prayerful, supportive context. There is great value to ones life in these words and how we are then encouraged to live them. I use this book daily and then when finished begin again as I have found treasure and more waiting.

From her own deep relationship with God, Teresa touches our soul and shares her light. There is a sweetness I feel in her as she strives to live in Oneness also deal with her humaness. I cherish the great spiritual teachers across the ages and their gifts to us all.

I can't properly express how much this wonderful gem has meant to my daily prayer and contemplation time. It is well organized and very easy to use. Daily prayers/meditations with a central idea, provide a brief beginning prayer, a one sentence contemplative thought to focus on during the day, and a brief closing prayer with which to end the day. (Each day's sections usually takes less than 5 minutes to read.) I often repeat a day's meditations several times because I get so much from each day's theme.

This is my first devotional book and its hitting exactly every step of walk I'm at with God. It helps put words for my day that I'm experiencing. God is so faithful and kind. I'll keep using this over and over again. This devotional will build up hunger and go after God, He is worth it.

This book is a jewel containing such beautiful and touching prayers. I would highly recommend it and it’s a book to read and practice throughout life.

The bite size thought for each day help you to absorb the deep wisdom that is shared. Utterly relevant for today, speaking into everyday 21st century situations. A great book for anyone wanting an accessible way into the writings of Teresa of Avila without being overwhelmed.
