The Proud Family Movie

This was a great movie, it allowed me to enjoy a glimpse into my childhood as I watched this with my child. We both loved it!

This was such a big part of my childhood that I needed to buy this so I have it on my shelf. The Proud Family the show was witty and outrageous and relatable at the same time. I loved that it was a black family which you hadn't seen in cartoons back when it show came out in the early 2000's. The movie just was the show full force. The peanut story line made it interested and I really liked how it came able.I loved the friends aspect of this show it was showing you the strong bond that friends have and when you're younger all you have friendships that forming in the beginning stages and this show is what you hope to have. I loved the family aspect as well it truly shows you that at the end of the day your family is there in the ways they should be.The grandmother was the best part of the show how crazy she was how her dog was made it all the better. In the movie it still shows you how family is important and friendship and how you shouldn't take it for granted because it could be gone forever. It's uplifting and relaxing at the same time.

The Proud Family Movie is a 2005 Disney Channel original movie based on the classic animated series starring an great voice cast including Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai White and JoMarie Payton. In this film, Penny Proud(Pratt)just turned 16 and wanted to spend her birthday with her friends at a rap concert, but her dad(Davidson)refuses to let her go to the concert. Instead, the Prouds are headed for a vacation on a tropical island by invitation, however, it was a plot by a descendant of George Washington Carver in his evil plan to steal the dad's secret formula. The result is the Prouds gets involved in many hilarious situations. The special features includes episodes clips of the Proud Family show, as well as a Penny's Driver's Ed. game and sneak peeks of other Disney DVD favourites like Phil of the Future and That's So Raven. The Proud Family Movie is one of the best and most memorable Disney Channel movies to enjoy!

When buying old movies you can run into a lot of problems. Ordering online from Amazon I ran into none of those problems. Some of the risks are being as though it's an old movie it may not work when you get it. This was crystal clear and HD wasn't even out when this movie was made. Trust me I remember lol. I was planning to wait on it to ship for days because usually your told one or two days and it takes a week. Not with this item. It came so fast I literally said to myself "I just ordered it!?".

I liked it so much, I watched it twice.

I love this movie, and I’m happy I finally have them on DVD! The quality is very good. This is one of my childhood favorites!

It's a good family movie, dealing with teenage issues. Very funny, I love the series anyway, so the movie was great to me. I look forward to the series being on DVD.

Not the best movie. I grew up watching the Proud Famiy TV series I was expecting a little more funny.

The tv series was much better still we enjoyed it.
