Lightning to Ethernet Adapter[Apple MFi Certified], IVSHOWCO iPhone iPad to RJ45 Ethernet LAN Network Adapter with Charging Port, 100Mbps High Speed,Plug and Play(1.65Ft)

Works perfectly for iPads. I work in tech at a school and this is super helpful when setting up iPads with our MDM. The light is very helpful to make sure it's plugged in and the ethernet cable is sending traffic. The cable is decently long which is great. If you are setting up iPads in bulk, this is a great tool.

This unit charges my phone and is faster connecting than my previous unit with 100mbs. It's about 30% faster at minimum than my previous unit. I think lightning port by itself is 480mbs, usb 2, so that is probably why you would not get the full 1000mbs because the way apple made the port. However, this unit is still faster and for everyday use, the extra long cord is awesome.

This would be a great adapter, IF IT WORKED. It keeps dropping the connection every few seconds. Then there is no connection for few seconds and it comes back. So the app that I have uploading pictures has to reset every few seconds. It says no internet connection, then it comes back. Then no internet connection, and then it comes back. Every few seconds. And, then my app crashes and I have to start all over. I also see this connection disappearing every few seconds on my Settings / Ethernet Connection on my phone. It loads the IP information every few seconds and then goes blank. Then it comes back, then it goes blank. Anyways, I am very disappointed. I have had the adapter for 4 months. At first I thought it was my CAT6 cable, and I switched that out. I am so very disappointed in my adapter, and more disappointed that it took so long to learn it does not work for me.

Works great and does exactly what it says on older Gen iPads (the one's with the home button)

My first one didn't work, the others connected to the network, but didn't charge until I realized I had to plug another lightening cable with power into them. This wasn't really clear when I ordered it, because I thought that it would use the PoE (Power over Ethernet).It works faster when connected: Internet speed tests 3x faster than Wi-fi with an iPhone 11, but probably faster with a newer phone.Unplug the when not using: After a few hours the adapters seem to stop working when I left them plugged into the ethernet, so disconnect them when you're not using them.

What a great product of you have Apple products with lightning. I removed wi-fi from our house and all our Macbooks and iPads and Iphones can get superfast internet using these 1000Mbps Ethernet Adapters. I love that they are small and fast and we have two of these in just about every room. Good old wired ethernet to get internet. It's old-school, healthier than wireless, it's faster and it's more secure, and it's small. You probably could use one of these in your Macbook, iPad or iPhone case and take this wherever you go.

This says that it can handle speeds up to 1000mbps, but it doesnt. It will not go past 130mbps on my ipad pad pro 2nd gen or Iphone 8. My other wired ethernet devices are running at 1100mbps. It may be that you cannot get faster than that through a lightning connection. Either way this product is BS.
