OPI Nail Lacquer Nail Polish | Opaque Light Red Crème Chip Resistant Nail Polish | Vegan, Fast Drying, Streak Free

I used to visit the nail salon every 3 weeks for a gel manicure/pendi and I just can’t afford the $100 bill any longer so I started to do it myself at home. While I don’t do a flawless job, practice makes perfect. Painting my nails has become not just a beauty routine for me, but it’s become a form of self-care. It's a moment for me to relax, to feel excited and accomplished, and to feel good about myself. At only $11 a bottle, I order one new color a week and am quickly growing my collection!I like to wear darker colors, gem stone tones, and colors of nature. When I wear reds it’s always a burgundy or maroon color. I stay away from the candy apple red, fire engine red and Christmas red. However something about this color just sits differently. While it is out of my comfort zone, I am very pleased with this red. It is a fantastic autumn red and I think will be my new Christmas red as well. While most reds usually make me feel like a “lady of the night” this red is exciting and rebellious compared to my normal reds, but doesn’t feel scandalous to me.Second, outside of the fantastic color, I love OPI nail polish. I love that there are so many different colors- there is truly something for everyone. Most polish companies offer bright and pastel colors. These don’t work with my skin tone. Every season I wear darker, richer colors, and it’s hard to find a variety with most brands, but not OPI.Lastly, I love the quality of the products. I know when I use OPI Nail Polish I can expect my mani/pedi to be looking fresh for days to come! I am a SAHM, my hand are busy washing dishes, cleaning, and cooking. With 1 base coat, 2 color coats, and 1 top coat, my nails remain chip free and looking fresh for 5-7 days!!! That’s hard to find with regular polish!

I’ve tried so many red nail polishes over the years, but OPI’s Big Apple Red has truly won me over. First of all, the color is stunning – it’s the perfect classic red that’s bold without being overwhelming, and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. It’s bright enough to grab attention, but still elegant and versatile enough for both casual and formal occasions. This shade instantly elevates any look, whether I’m dressed up for a night out or just running errands.Another thing I absolutely love is how long-lasting this polish is. I wash my hands constantly throughout the day, and I’m always amazed at how well it holds up – no chipping for days on end. It genuinely feels like it’s locked in place, even without a top coat sometimes! I also do a lot of typing, cooking, and general daily activities that usually take a toll on my nails, but this lacquer keeps its shine and stays put.When it's time to remove it, the polish comes off easily with nail polish remover, which is a big plus for me. I’ve used some reds in the past that would stain or take forever to remove, but this one slides off effortlessly without leaving any residual color behind.In summary, if you’re looking for a beautiful, bold red that’s going to last long and look incredible, OPI's Big Apple Red is it. I’ve repurchased this shade multiple times, and it’s become my go-to red. I honestly feel like my nails look salon-finished every time I wear it!

Great price,lovely color, as long lasting as others. Dries smoothly

OPI is a great product and probably the only nail polish I will ever use again. This color (my solar clock is ticking) is beautiful, but I would not consider it a red. It's more of a deep rich Salmon color. It's still very flattering and would recommend purchasing if you like pinks and reds.

Cajun shrimp is a bright (almost neon) reddish coral pink. It is predominantly orange-pink rather than red. On my nails is a true red (OPI Big Apple Red) for comparison. Cajun Shrimp is gorgeous, especially on warm skin tones.Also, lovers of vintage Cajun Shrimp formulas will be disappointed. It has been changed. Older versions of Cajun Shrimp were a red-orange jelly. Current formula is more of an orange-pink creme (opaque). Since it's no longer a jelly, this will not have that glossy, juicy finish that it had before. It's a shade worth having in its own right though.For the best chip resistance, I recommend using Orly Rubberized base coat and cap your edges: paint over the free edge of your nail, before painting the top. I use ILNP Glass Candy top coat for a rock hard, glossy protective finish.

Okay, OPI’s So Hot It Berns might be my new favorite red polish. This shade is the perfect opaque, classic red crème; not too orange, not too blue-toned, just a vibrant true red that looks expensive and goes with everything.The formula is chef’s kiss; smooth, streak-free, and fully opaque in just two coats. It dries crazy fast (major win) and lasts a solid 5-6 days without major chipping, which is rare for me since I’m hard on my nails. Plus, it’s vegan and doesn’t smell as harsh as some other polishes.

Love this brand love this nail polish. and the color matches my nails. one nail got chipped so i peeled it off. I have this brand in clear polish too so i applied that first and then the color. looks amazing! and it dries fast. I never have any problems
