Best soap making kit! Deluxe box full of options and supplies to get you going right away!
I purchased this kit for my daughter for Christmas and she has been so pleased with it! They box is huge, heavy, and packed FULL of supplies, and she loves the different molds, colors, and scents to choose from. She is 10 years old and was able to do most everything herself with me just watching over her. If you're looking for a great starter kit that will keep you/your kid busy for a while, this is the one to get! Great quality, easy to use, easy to clean, awesome value for what you get!! Great gift for any kid or teen!

New Hobby Time!
I’ve been wanting to try my hand at soap making for years but always thought it would be too difficult or too expensive. I decided to put my doubts aside and just go for it. After lots of research and watching countless soap making tutorials, I found a kit that would have everything I’d need to start making soap right out of the box. This kit, from what I can tell has the basics of everything you need to start out. It even has wrappers for the finished bars of soap. Bonus, as someone who enjoys doing multiple crafts, and has tons of craft supplies in multiple rooms in my house, this kit comes packaged in such a way that I can easily and neatly put everything back into the box without it cluttering up my craft areas. The kit itself comes with a nice sized silicone soap loaf mold, inside a sturdy wooden frame, a sturdy sectioned wooden block to cut the bars of soap, two hand held cutters, straight & wavy, two different silicone soap molds (round and square), a plastic pitcher, stirring sticks, 2 pounds of white soap base, 2 pounds of clear soap base, some starter fragrances, colors and two pouches of dried flowers (rose and lavender). Pricing all this out separately can be much more expensive.I’m so excited to get started. I can just envision how creative I will get with all the different fragrance combinations, the things I can add into the mix and designs I can make with the soaps I’m going to make to give as gifts and to hopefully sell.Melt & pour soap making seems to be the simplest of all the different soap making methods to start out with. There is really no measuring of multiple ingredients to make the soap other than the fragrant oils or colors you want to use. There is no actual lye to handle which is a big reason I picked this kind of kit. One, I didn’t want to handle potentially dangerous chemicals right out of the gate, and two, I want to try to make a soap as easily as possible. There is some lye already in the base, but it’s stabilized and not harmful to inhale while you melt the base. Once I become more accustomed to the whole process, and after much more research, I may branch out to cold press soap making. Until then, I think I’ll have a lot of fun with this kit. I’ll definitely make my money back, for the kit purchase, in soap sales pretty quickly.Hopes this helps anyone on the fence deciding on whether or not to get this kit. So far it’s great.*Edit* 2/4/23:Made two kinds of soap and they turned out really well. I made lavender scrubby soaps with loofah and patchouli orange bars. They both smell amazing. They are curing right now and will be given as gifts in the next couple of weeks. The whole process of making soap was not as difficult as I thought it would be. It has really helped watching tutorials on YouTube. I’ll definitely be making more soap. Making it yourself is really satisfying.*UPDATE: Just want to mention, when I bought this exact set a couple months ago, it was only $75. I’m just stunned at the new price*

Price was great
Pros: The wooden tray is great, the silicone trays are easy to clean and the soaps pop out easily. The fragrances are strong and colors vibrant. Lavender is a good quality. The clear soap is truly clear and looks like glass when hardened, it looked beautiful with flowers in it. The cutting tools work great. I got my set on sale, considering just those wooden trays sell for what I paid for the whole lot I’d say that’s a win.Cons: The Rose petals were mostly brown instead of a beautiful red color. The soap base given is not enough to fill the wood tray. The white soap itself isn’t the best quality, it feels more like wax than soap. The essential oils are hard to pour as drops, I ended up spilling some on the counter as it does not have a little built in dropper.I would buy this again and do recommend it but note you may need to buy your own additives and more soap base if you want to make more than 8 bars of soap.
