Bigger than I thought.
This palm came extremely well packaged. The box it was packed in was so strong I had a difficult time cutting it with my utility knife. Even Fedex couldn't destroy that box. It arrived without any damage to the outside of the box. The plant and soil were well protected inside and no spillage of soil or damage to the palm occurred during shipping. I was quite surprised to see how healthy that palm was and even more surprised at it's size. I expected it to be much smaller. It was over 2 and 1/2 feet tall. I'm very happy with this purchase and probably will purchase a few more palms soon.

Hardy Needle Palm
In (Dallas) Texas nurseries just can’t get these in stock so I had no choice but to order online. I got a three gallon Needle Palm and was delighted to see just how large my new plants is. It will replace a Pindo Palm which I think is dead. I’ll start it in a pot for the summer and transplant it in the fall to go next to my pool. Every pool needs a palm next to it, right? This can even be planted in Zone 5! I read some say it’s a fast grower; some say it’s a slower grower. Doesn’t matter to me as long as it can survive our Dallas area which is a zone 8. Very pleased!!!!

Big money Tiny plant.
Small seedling plant with no mature leaves. I bought this palm because of all the reviews about everyone getting a big healthy plant but not me. They stuck 2 little seedling plants to make it somehow look larger but it did not work. And it was not a 3 Gal pot either. The box it came in was huge with the tiny plant in it. I was going to buy 3 more if I had gotten one that looked like the pictures. So will not be purchasing any more from this company. I would return it but I had to break the box to get the damn plant out. Really disappointed.

The palm died within a few months
The palm arrived quickly enough. We planted it according to the instructions, but a few months later it died. By then it was past the 30 day guarantee, so there was no refund, replacement or discount on a replacement. I will go back to buying my plants from a local nursery where I have a much better return/replacement policy.

Good size healthy palm.
The media could not be loaded. Good size palm. Great shape. Well developed root system. Palm is native to US. Florida lists the species as threatned. Planting new ones helps. It is the most cold resistant palm in the word. Like any evergreen, the palm hates winter winds and if planted outside should be wrapped in burlap in the late fall. I have one growing outside in Montgomery County Maryland for 8 years no issue other than deer nibbles.

Very surprised how big the palm tree was and all leaves were in great shape also came early very nice, I purchased a windmill palm directly from this company a couple years ago and it wasn't as nice as this one.

Excellent Quality Plant!
You get exactly what they describe, a healthy, happy needle palm plant in a 3-gallon pot. The shipping was super fast as well! The only reason I didn't do a 5-star was because of the packaging. The box was perfect and actually meant to ship tall plants like this. They also bagged the pot, but it was very loosely bagged, so the plant was actually out of the pot, along with over half the soil when it arrived. Some root damage and definitely total upheaval of the root system. I am sure it will be ok, but it's also preventable. Everything was at least IN the bag, but tightly bagging or securing a plastic sheet or other cover over the tops of pots is key and how a vast majority of mail or potted plants I get come (none out of their pots).
