Hold tool securely into end cap
Works great. Just keep pressure on the tool into the end cap. I removed two tilt end caps on my 22 year old twin engine lift cylinders with minimal effort. Seems to be a high quality tool.Tool arrived quickly and included 3 extra pins for a total of 6 pins. Turned out I didn't need the extra pins.Highly recommended. And vendor has highly detailed Youtube videos that are very helpful.

Time or Money
Its an overpriced piece of metal but your saving hundreds of dollars by rebuilding the cylinder yourself. It allows you to open the cylinder in minutes without any grief and put it back together with confidence. Sure you could just return it after one use but I really don't mind keeping it for next time or a friend in a jam. Its worth the money cause I didn't spend time rigging it and scratching the aluminum.
