DenmanD24 Detangling Rake Comb

I should have paid attention to the reviews talking about rough edges! Actually, the edges of the comb tines are fine on the comb I got, but the very tip of each tine is really sharp, so no good for combing near the scalp as its actually painful on the sensitive scalp skin. It seems that Denman's quality control is the issue as this couldn't have happened post manufacture. I can't capture it on a photo but can easily feel a sharp edge on each tine. It would cost more to return than the comb cost so hopefully I can smooth these somehow, failing which, it'll be the bin!

My wife seems to have no problem buying a comb that is named a "D24 Detangling Rake". As well as it sounding like a military device used to removed heavily dug in barbed wire, it would also suggest she has a most heinously tangled head of hair.She doesn't.I can only assume this is down to the quality of the comb and therefore I have no issue in providing it with a glowing 5-star review.If I was being picky then I would perhaps suggest some sort of wrist-strap could be supplied with the product to prevent her from misplacing the thing literally every single morning!

I was gutted when I realised I’d left my trusty detangling comb in a hotel. I didn’t think I’d find one as good - but this one is actually even better. My hair is thick, and fairly long: this comb does the job without pulling or pain, on wet or dry hair.

Bought this for my son who has fairly long wavy hair and does not brush it. He says it works well wet or dry and his hair certainly looks much neater.

I have thick, long, wavy hair and have broken the handle off my previous cheaper comb. This one is perfect - very sturdy and gets straight through my hair combing conditioner through in the shower.
