Can these be used with hp printer?

They can be used with any INKJET printer. You should not use these transfers on any laser printers.

Can you use a steamer instead of an iron?

Hi, Thank you for your question regarding our Vanishing Fabric Transfer. Since our Vanishing Fabric Transfer requires proper heat settings as well as the right amount of applied pressure for a period of time, the use of steamer is not recommended for this product. The best item to use would be a ball point pen or a soft tip marker. Using a colored pencil or anything with a sharper point will most likely scratch the coated surface. Thank you, Printworks Customer Service
