My husband and I absolutely love this set. We routinely draw encouraging chalk notes/pictures for each other on the front porch floor (it's concrete), and this set is just what we were hoping for to replace our old, used-up, basic set. The colors are beautifully vibrant, edgy, and unique - and I love the glitter ones (the glitter really shows!). Strong/rich (pigment-wise) colors. And I love the squared shape of the pieces!Some people have complained about chalk arriving broken... obviously, this is to be expected with chalk. Chalk is not shock-proof. It's chalk. You're going to have a few broken ones after the shipping process. It's not a big deal and there's no way on Earth to avoid some broken ones - it's only luck if you don't have any broken.In fact, those folks who are complaining might should look on the positive side: When a chalk is broken (especially with this set of chalk where the pieces are square so as not to roll away), you now have a flat top on the chalk and that really gives you four top corners to write/draw with. That's kind of a bonus, in my opinion. Of course, if the majority of your chalk arrives broken, I can understand why that would return them (I would, too). But that isn't the product's (or Crayola's) fault. It's just the luck of the draw with how rough the shipping process was - and the shipping process goes through so many steps that you can't blame any person or any step in particular.I actually *appreciate* Crayola for *not* using padding or extra packaging to shock-proof/protect the chalk. Padding and packaging are wasteful and terrible for the environment, so I would NOT want Crayola to start adding additional padding/shock-proofing in order to protect the chalk just to please the complaining buyers. Chalk is fragile - everyone knows it. Look on the bright side if you receive some broken chalk.I only wanted to say the above because I wish buyers wouldn't give this product lower stars just because chalk was received broken. This really is a GREAT product and I hope Crayola keeps making it so others can enjoy it. I am very happy and grateful to have this wonderful set - it is a joy to use. Thank you so much, Crayola. Impossible to go wrong with a namebrand like this. Good quality chalk that is very easy to wash off, Unlike other Brands that we have tried. This is a very large box and comes with a generous supply of chalk that will last a very long time. Just like all other chalk, it does break apart very easily when thrown or dropped. Beautiful and vibrant colors and excellent quality.

Great chalk, washes out of clothes & off little hands very easily. Fantastic range of colors,especiallyfor how affordable these are. Wonderful for any ages outdoor play! Makes a great gift

We’ve gone through a few different brands of sidewalk chalk, but Crayola’s version is hands-down our favorite. The colors are bold, vibrant, and go on smoothly, making every drawing really pop—whether it’s a hopscotch board, rainbow, or a full sidewalk mural. The chalk is just the right size for little hands and the colors show up well on the driveway. The chalk is easily removed with rain or water. Great for hours of fun for kids and adults.

Came with a couple broken pieces. Colors are vibrant and large variety. Box is nice, but difficult if pieces are broken. Easy to hold and write with.

If you buy these to eat/consume, it's a decent product that does change your poo different colors. However, I will advise against eating the deep reds and pinks because they taste the absolute worse! Think sorta like the coating on the Switch Games cartridge, very gross. Besides that, the lighter colors taste the best, the one black one is far softer than you'd think (a bit disappointing), but the greens and light blues are all wonderful and give wonder crunches. Oranges are also fine. I'm not sure what's the issue with the reds and pinks, something in that dye but eh, it's fine. It will give you mud butt so plan accordingly. Besides that, great product, non-toxic so you can safely pass it through your system. If you choose to eat the glitter filled ones, you will be pooping glitter which is pretty fun in and of itself.

My kids love chalk. This was all the fun colors, which made it fun to use. It was easy to clean of the sidewalk.with rain or water. Light weight, and write well for chalk. My kids loved that it was square and it didn't roll.
