Worth it!

I tried this because of the reviews and was so disappointed. I tried several cups at varying strengths and found all of it bitter and unpleasant. Maybe I am not a true coffee connoisseur, just a farm girl from the Appalachian foothills, but I know bitter when I taste it. I then tried Taster's Choice decaf and there it was, a mild and pleasant cup. Perhaps people consider the bitterness of coffee to be one of its great selling points and if so this is a perfect cup for you. I just always felt like a bitter cup of coffee, which you only got at my Grandma's if you arrived at the end of the pot which was full of grounds, thick and black as coal, was an assault on my face! I want to smile in the morning with my first cup and not grimace. Maybe I just like an American farmhand cup of coffee. As you like it, as Billy Shakespeare would say.

During vacation in Germany the Kaffee Hag was served in finger long pouches with hot water. Easy to make and to me tasty. Also tried the bag version which tasts as good.

Husband drank this in Europe while there and was thrilled that we were able to find it on amazon. reminds him of a latte.

My husband loves this instant coffee . He first drank it in Germany. So happy to have found it here on Amazon!
