I got this couple of weeks ago. Took a while to deliver, but got it delivered in one piece, without any damage!I mainly use this for work and with MacBook Pro. And for office work, this works best for me. This being ultra-wide, and having 2k resolution, lets me easily line-up 3 windows side-by-side. This was the main criteria for me to choose this specific monitor. Super useful if you are a programmer or want to multi-task. I did check out the 1080p variant of 37", but it is not as neat as 1440p. 1080p just blows up big on 37" screen, and you wont get as much real-estate as you get in 1440p.Best thing is it comes with inbuilt speakers. So I just use my Mac in clamshell mode, and use the monitor for display and audio-out. So its great for watching trainings/videos right through monitor's speakers.I am not a gamer, but for occasional video watching as well this is great. Most of the videos are not made for 3440x1440 resolution, so you will see black bars on the sides. But most of the videos on Amazon Prime do leverage Ultra wide resolution, and watching movies in this wide screen, is really immersive :)The looks are elegant. It has got the arch base, which is sturdy enough and doesn't occupy too much space on my desk.Overall this appears to be under-rated. This is a very good product for this price range. LG seems to provide 3years of warranty, hope it will stay strong on longer run.

I bought it mainly for my music production purpose and iam satisfied with it and it does the great job even I see movies in it and found out it to be an good product with great picture quality but I guess it's may give best results for gaming purpose as it's a curve monitor. For me to produce music and the software visuals the curve moniter give perfect results

Speaker is sufficient for zoom calls (for music & movies better use a separate speaker) I am using a tribit go which fits perfectly below the screen.7. Brightness is ok for home use8. Comes with Freesync Premium Extended(Good for gaming)9. Comes with DP and HDMI Cables(160Hz only through DP 1.4)10. Very good contrast ratio , Blacks are almost like QLED (much better than IPS panels)Cons:1. Split screen is not available for viewing multiple computers at same time2. Have doubts on color accuracy (stick to IPS if you are a content creator)3. There are some ghosting as any other VA Panel but you can tweak controls to minimize it.Overall a good purchase . Recommend this for gamers and developers etc.

This monitor was hidden for such a long time on Amazon and I must say this monitor has no reviews over the web so I was very skeptical about my purchase.But this monitor has made all my doubts and thoughts go away. Yes you need to do a few settings like changing the colour range to 10bits by dropping refresh rate from 160hz to 144hz ( you will not see a difference in refresh rate) also, if you could get some colour settings done ( I haven't but I am happy with the colours)Pro1) Huge screen for content consumption, productivity and gaming2) Immersive experience because of the curve3) crisp resolution 3440x1440 is a very crisp resolutionCons1) my previous monitor benQ EX2510 had 2.5watt speakers better than these 7watt speakers2) viewing angles are a bit off. At corners you will feel like the display is hidden. This shouldn't bother you much.3) ignorable ghosting/smearing. Keeping the panel price and usage in mind this can be ignored too. It is not at all a deal breaker.Overall, I will recommend this product only and only to a casual user who want to use screen for content consumption, work and casual gaming which could be any game shooting, racing, story line. This monitor can handle everything well. Please connect a speaker through headphone out or bluetooth for much better experience. Hardcore IPS panel users please refrain from purchasing as you might see washed out colours( can be corrected through calibration)An average user like me will never be able to tell the difference until and unless comparing side by side or only focused upon finding a difference.That's it from my side. Here are my first impressions1. Pros* Excellent for multitasking* The vision to look more is awesome* Speaker quality is decent* Ability to connect 2 laptops at the same time is great feature.* You can do lot of customisation to fit your purpose.* Love the joystick for screen controls.2. Cons* You need to adjust your screen or split it using powertoys- fancy zones* Need to adjust using it.* Screen height cannot be adjusted but tilted.

After using for 1 week, the monitor faced a defect where the corner got damaged. Even slight pressure will permanently damage the panel. LG even refused to cover this under warranty. This is not expected from such a expensive monitor. 40k down the drain

Great product but the picture quality is not perfect you need re calibration, but this price this is the best ultrawide curved monitor if you not looking curve you can go with lg ergo 34inch in same price with 2usb hub in it.
