Quick germination, looks great
Germinated very quickly. It’s been a week now! I ordered more to make the carpet denser

Avoid! You really do get what you pay for!
This product is completely ineffective and highly misleading. Despite multiple attempts using different planting methods, the seeds did not germinate at all. Instead, they clumped together, formed a sticky, slimy residue, and ruined the substrate—making cleanup a frustrating and time-consuming task. After waiting a full week with no results, the only outcome was the extra work of washing out the slimy mess stuck to the sand and substrate. This was a total waste of money and effort. Avoid this product at all costs.

Don't listen to the bad reviews!!
Recently I decided I to set up another tank in my house had a 4ft tank in my livingroom with false plants and decided it was time to try a fully live planted setup,After reading the reviews I was seriously sceptical but for £4 I thought it was worth the gamble and I am so glad I did,This has turned my tank from boring to awesome to the point where ive not brought more of the small double leaves and also the long hairy grass to give a go with,Yes they are very messy to begin with and sort of gel up the tank water for a few days but once the cloudiness and jelly settles it clears up nicely (my only issue now if the tanning from the drift wood but that's nothing to do with the seeds) however I would like to point out i am a very strong believer that the plants are removing alot of the tannings my water is almost crystal clear and they have sprouted very wellNow to how I planted them I used a 60-40 black gravel-sand mix laid down about 1.6 inches of substrate, lightly misted it all then sprinkled the seeds all over where I wanted them followed by another light misting of water to which I did 2/3 times a day for the first 2 days gradually making the misting heavier,3rd day I had a couple of tiny sprouts litterally 1 or 24th dayI noticed about 8/10 sprouts and decided to "flood" my tank with about half an inch of water covering the seeds and left it6th day I noticed about 60% had sprouted so I added my drift wood and topped the rest of the tank upWe're on the 10th day as im writing this and as you can see from the photo 90+ percent of the seeds have sprouted and there really vibrant in colour i would highly recommend them to anyone hence why I brought more plus some of the long hairy grass yesterday 😊

okay
Good once grown, but they are annoying to grow. I used a separate tub to grow them in, along with a hot water bottle to ensure the heat is kept, and once they were grown, I placed the plant rug into my tank, and it's been thriving ever since then.

Not an aquatic plant
I am a horticulturalist not an aquatic plant expert but these grass seeds are not aquatic they are easy to grow I just floated a small tray with a small amount of aquarium soil water and seeds they sprouted quickly a few days and grew well then I planted them in my tanks I one tank rabbit snails took an interest after a few days suggesting decomposition . In another tank it stayed put but after two weeks it has gradually browned to death. I have tried several times with different substrate all grew an died except the ones I planted in the ground in my garden they look ok. Ref the plant seed sold along side these I have tried these with much gel type masses and no plants.

PATIENCE IS THE KEY! Worth a Try!
Mine took a while to germinate (day 5) but then took off. I flooded my tank on day 13 as I have to put transfer my fishes soon but happy with the result. Would have given 4 but wasn't as think as I was expecting but it would have if I have just waited a week more! PATIENCE IS THE KEY AND KEEP MISTING EVERYDAY AND COVER WITH CLINFLIM!

Nice plants but I removed them
These seeds did finally grow when I added a full tank of water after five days of only tiny shoots. After a week of them being in my fish tank, I removed all of the seeds because they were gloopy. The grass did grow, but once it got to a certain height it released itself from the soil and floated to the top of the tank leaving the sticky seeds exposed to the fish. my fish did not come to any harm because of these seeds, but they looked messy despite planting them under the soil.id say they’re not suitable for ‘carpeting’ an aquarium from my experience with them
