Fabulous curved shower pole gives the much needed extra couple of inches in the teensy tiny city apartment shower! Feels utterly luxurious and is very nice looking, really upgraded the look of the tiny bathroom. Highly recommend! One comment I have is to attack the assembly instructions with a clear, calm mind. It was a bit brain draining to assemble but well worth it. Extremely easy to hang up in place, just suction, no drilling. The metal finish is very appealing

As a renter, I wanted to be able to upgrade my shower space to feel more spa like. This shower rod was a hugeeeee upgrade! It gives me so much more space in the shower! Feels great to be able to move freely without getting touched by the shower curtain. It was challenging to set up but my boyfriend and I had fun with it ! Pro tip: follow the instruction on the rod and twist the rod to really make it secure to the walls. I almost missed that step.

I installed this rod without any drilling—clearly, my skills are better than I thought! It works perfectly, keeping the water in and the chaos out, even if my DIY talent sometimes leaves me laughing at my own mistakes.

I may not be the most competent human being when it comes to complex home improvement projects, but putting up a shower curtain should not have sent me into a downward shame spiral.I purchased this product based on the description and some very positive reviews from people who either hold degrees in advanced engineering or who don't know what a shower curtain rod is and how easy it is supposed to be to set one up.I started my journey by un-boxing the rod and reading the quite simplistic instructions. Seemed easy enough. Then I realized that the instructions seemed to indicate that the end cap pieces should not have a cover on them, which mine did. I figured I would simply remove the cover and insert the rod as shown.I am not sure if the manufacturer is just an A-hole or if the end cap covers ended up on the end pieces solely by accident caused by jarring during the transit process, but it took an inordinate amount of profanity, brute strength, tears, and a little blood to remove them. With the end cap covers removed I inserted one half of the rod into the designated end piece and screwed it in. This took quite a bit of work and I began to wonder at this point if putting together this rod was a two person job.The second half of the rod screwed into the other end piece a bit easier and I felt like I was on the right path at this point.I joined the two rod halves together and formed one glorious curved shower curtain rod and began the process of mounting it into the shower. A regular shower mind you, tiled. I stretched out the rod and tried tightening the tension part, it never tightened. That is when I realized I forgot to screw in THE WORLDS TINIEST SCREW into the worlds tiniest screwhole with the worlds tiniest hex wrench.While trying to hold the rod up with one hand while simultaneously inserting a screw made by ants proved cumbersome and problematic. I don't do yoga, but I found myself in some rather awkward balancing poses while inserting the screw and tightening it. The screw never fully felt tight, like it was sort of just sitting in the hole, providing little to no tightness.I was finally ready to turn the tension rod and secure the shower curtain rod into place. And that is when the heavens opened and God looked down on me and said, "HA!" Between securing the screw and twisting the tension rod I managed to come up short a few inches (Insert "that's what she said" joke here)...I had extended the tension rod as far as it would go but I needed to extend the rod a bit to get it to sit securely between the walls on both sides of the shower. This meant loosening the screw I spent about forty minutes setting in place.I grabbed the tiny hex wrench and tried to loosen the screw...that is apparently made of cheese or some other soft material not found on the table of elements as it was completely stripped. Not the threading mind you, the actual hexagonal hole on top of the screw. Where once there was a hex shape there was now simply a hole.I spent the next thirty minutes letting loose a loud string of profanity that sent my dog running under the bed to hide. I now had a forty dollar piece of garbage...but to be fair, the company that makes these things has an entire warehouse full of them, so good for them for making a profit off of them.This is literally the WORST piece of garbage I have ever bought; this coming from the guy who purchased the extended director's cut of the 1980s Supergirl movie!!I wanted a simple way to get a curved shower curtain rod without having to drill holes. I ended up with my right eye twitching uncontrollably and a dog who has not come out from under the bed for six hours.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! If I can save one person from making the same mistake I made, this review will be well worth it. I hate you Zenna Home shower curtain rod, I hope whoever made you falls into a fire ant mound.

So far great still on day #2. I was able to put together and install by myself. No drooping and seems tight.

To those who say this isn't a good shower rod or hard to install, clearly have never put up a shower curtain rod before. This is perfect for a renter. The instructions are clear to read. If you're short like me, get a second person to help (or at least a step ladder). I had it put together and installed in 10 mins and its sturdy with no worries of it falling down.

This is the second set of zenna curved curtain rods that I've purchased in the last 10 years. Quality is the same as it was many years ago.The tension rod style works well but make sure to tighten it well and make sure the surface supports tension rods. I'm also very careful with how hard I pull on the curtains when using tension rods. Would not use this style for bathtubs that are prone to a lot of young children that like to tug on things.
