Moleskine - Classic Notebook, Plain Notebook, Hard Cover and Elastic Closure, Size X-Large 19 x 25 cm, Colour Hydrangea Blue, 192 Pages

Bin total enttäuscht. Wollte mir mal ein "besseres" Notizbuch leisten von einer bekannten Marke und bin total reingefallen damit. Leider habe ich schon reingeschrieben, sonst hätte ich es zurückgeschickt. Das Papier ist minderwertig und so dünn, dass man auf der Rückseite alle Kugelschreiberstriche durchsieht -> kein schönes Schreib- oder Leseerlebnis. Der "feste Einband" ist keinesfalls wie ein Hardcover, sondern eher ein Softcover. Insgesamt ein Billigprodukt zum Preis eines Markenprodukts, enttäuschend.

This is the 3rd one I have bought. Previous two were the ART paper and excellent. The paper in this one is super thin and the ink bleeds thru with just a Pilot V5 pen!!! I hate it. I didn’t realize the classic paper was different. My mistake. In the draw it goes.

I’ve been getting moleskines for years, probably over a decade now. But I am a crazy notebook/journal collector so I buy them faster than I go through them. Point being, it’s been a while since I’ve purchased one for writing. And I am shocked. My previous moleskines had this beautiful thick paper, almost a light card stock. Like another reviewer, I found the paper to be almost tissue-paper-thin. There is no way you can write on both sides of the pages with a pen—if I was using it to draw with graphite even, I wouldn’t be able to use both sides. The quality of Moleskins really has sunk and that’s really sad since they’ve always been my go-to standard.

The color of this notebook is absolutely gorgeous, and I've been using it as a sketchbook! This book is pretty wide and offers a lot of space for drawing. It has a pocket in the back for extra paper scraps and papers. The elastic does a great job, and the bookmark is the same color as the notebook! My favorite feature is that the notebook lies completely flat which is ideal for drawing. Overall fantastic notebook, my only complaint is that the pages are a bit thin, so drawing with markers or brush pens can lead to ghosting.
