Great taiyaki pan
Great taiyaki pan, heats up quickly and evenly it's very light and easy to flip with no weird taste, I imagined it'd be just a little bit bigger but I love the size of each one that is made, it makes 8 taiyaki no problem.

My wife and I love it! Perfect fun dessert time!
It took me a couple attempts to get them perfect, but they turned out so good! The pan is easy to use. It works in an electric coil stove, which was my worry since I don't have a gas stove with a flame. These make for such a fun dessert snack to make with my wife.

fish-shaped pastry
As someone who loves bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry), this product seems perfect. The size is just right too. At first, I was doubtful because I have an electric oven at home whether it would work, but it works very well. Even if you have a gas oven, there's no need to worry. I'm using it with satisfaction.

Super fun!
I bought this after my coworker brought me some and I wanted to try filling them myself! The pan is nice and light, it feels like it will hold up, and it’s easy to hand wash. The value of this pan is very nice but the recipe/directions on the box resulted in some gummy taiyaki. It is likely user error but I found that if I just use bisquick according to the package directions that they come out great and look great too!

Adorable and easy to use!
I ordered the CookKing Taiyaki Pan because I love making both sweet and savory waffles, and I wanted a pan that will allow me to put more 'stuffing' inside than a traditional waffle maker. This pan does exactly that! I do wish that the taiyaki were larger so I could stuff them more, but this pan is perfect for making two medium sized taiyaki. It arrived the day after I placed my order, and after pre-washing it I used it that evening. While I have not yet tried the recipe printed on the box, I have made taiyaki using a boxed pancake/waffle mix and stuffed with peanut butter and honey. YUM! You have to be careful not to put too much filling, particularly if it is something sugary (like honey) because it can ooze out and burn on the stovetop. I have a smooth ceramic stovetop, and the burnt honey took a while to get clean. That was the only time I had an ooze problem. I also made some savory taiyaki using a plain batter stuffed with cheese and pesto. My family love the cute fish shape and I plan to make more variations with stuffings like applesauce, chocolate, banana, taco meat and many others. The Taiyaki Pan is very easy to clean. I didn't realize it would disassemble into two pieces, which was a pleasant surprise; you simply open it beyond 180 degrees and slide the two halves in opposite directions. After washing it is easy to reassemble in the same manner.I can't wait to see how many more kinds of taiyaki I can make with this great little pan! I may also order another one that makes the open-mouthed fish that is then easily filled with a variety of ingredients. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of this product. I may receive a rebate from the manufacturer as part of the CookKing Awareness Program, but a positive review was not solicited from me.

Good quality, works well!
Love how easy it is to use, and heats up very quickly. Quality made, and fish size is normal. Makes tasty taiyaki, and is valuable for cooking on the shape.

taiyaki r nice
For a $20 uni-tasker on amazon im pleasantly surprised at the build quality. The handle is firmly fixed, the material is also flexible but not in a bad way (the handles have a little clasping ring to keep them together as needed. the flexibility helps with clasping and unclasping). The actual pan itself is decent weight. If you open the pan past 180 degrees you'll find the two halves detatch from each other. This is a much better hinge design than having a cheap tin pin. The hinge for this pan is actually part of the whole pan's molding itself and you can easily put it together as you took it apart. As for the coating time will tell how it holds up. If using a filling i'd do a thin cylinder of red bean so the red bean doesnt break through either side of the fishie.no regrats purchase. i imagine cooking taiyaki would be easier with a squeeze bottle or a kettle to pour or something
