Tough case for clumsy people
I am an absolute klutz when it comes to phones. I have dropped my phones so much that buying a strong, sturdy case is my priority. This case is an absolute legend and has protected my phone from nasty spills, drops, and the accidental toss and flop.Pros:- Durable and has lasted me a long time- The kickstand is great to just prop and watch. It is just as strong as the rest of the case, so you don't have to worry about it snapping- The case never cracked or shattered upon my clumsiness- Looks great and with all the added nicks and scratches, looks like a war-hardened veteran- Raised side bumpers have protected my phone from falling on the screenNeutral:- I have accidentally cracked the case due to forgetting how to remove my phone from it. The case itself still works fine, and the crack is only cosmetic in natureCons:- It does add heft to my phone, but I've gotten used to it. The only real problem is when it falls out of my hand and on to my face.I have no clue how I managed to do it, but I did shatter my screen. Due to physics, my phone flew off the countertop via headphone cable wire looping around the cabinet button handle and me walking away a few feet. The headphones and Button handle acted like a dang pulley system and chucked my phone pretty hard and the bumpers weren't enough as the phone fell on top of something big enough to touch the screen. Due to the sheer force (it slid a good foot and a half after landing) the tiny object it landed on was able to spiderweb my phone. The case is still fine though, and my phone still works fine. I just have to look through a web. No Pixel death so the cracks, while unfortunate, are mostly cosmetic.

It's a perfect fit and feels secure
It's a perfect fit and feels secure. The side buttons are responsive (maybe a bit too responsive, since I accidentally press them sometimes when I grab my phone, which ends up opening the camera) and they're not too recessed so dirt and crud doesn't build up in them. It's not too bulky and feels pretty good in your hand and in your pocket. The PC that makes up the back and sides is a little slick, but the flexible TPU gives you something to grip onto. It also has a small lip that protects the screen and keeps the screen elevated should it ever be screen-side down, but when you put on a tempered glass screen protector, the lip is pretty shallow, which dampens its original purpose (as I'm sure you've read in other reviews, this doesn't come with a screen protector, so you'll need to get one of those on your own if you so choose). If you put it in your lap, the PC is slick enough that the phone might slide off your lap, though. The slickness does make it easy to pull out of your pocket, unlike some old phone cases I've had with a completely flexible TPU outer cover. The back of the case has recesses deep enough to protect your camera and the fingerprint censor/main button, and it gives you a nice place to direct your finger right to the button. The description says the PC and the TPU are 2 separate layers, which they are, but they come already connected to each other in one piece when you open the box. I just felt I should mention that since it caught me a bit off guard.Besides the good, solid build, the feature that sets this apart from the other cases is the kickstand. The kickstand works wonderfully. It does feel it will break sometime down the road, but it works perfectly right now. And it works in both directions, so you can have your phone at a shallower or steeper angle, depending on how you want to view it, which I have in the pictures. My phone hasn't fallen yet, and I don't plan on doing any drop tests to test it out, so I can't speak on how it does in that respect, but it feels like it would do the job. Overall, I really like this phone case. For the price, the build, and the kickstand, it's a really good purchase and I'm very happy with it.

Always go for Spigen
I've been using this case since I got my G6 about a year ago, and it's the only case I've ever used. It's still going strong. The flexible inner part has a firm and plastic-y feel that has not torn or stretched or worn down even slightly. The outer shell paint has gotten REALLY scratched over time (pictured) so if you're concerned about lasting aesthetic, you may find that a problem. Personally, I'm more concerned about its ability to protect my device. In terms of use, the screen side has a lip that's maybe 1/8" deep that does a good job of preventing the screen from contacting surfaces. The power button on the back is easily accessible. In fact, I find it easier to use the fingerprinter reader with the case than without, because the case creates a divot to rest your finger in, whereas with no case the entire back is flat, making it difficult to line your finger up without looking. In the hand, it doesn't feel too bulky and it has sort of a matte finish that's easy to grip. The volume buttons are covered, but they are still very clicky and have a good tactile response when you press them. The openings for the headphone and charging ports are nice and wide, so you should never have any issue with a cable that's too large to fit through the opening. I use a wireless charging pad and the case does not interfere at all. Can't comment on the kickstand as I never use it.All in all, this is a fantastic case and I think Spigen is a great brand. I had to purchase an iPhone case for a phone that I use at work, and I bought a Spigen. That one is great too. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Great "Tough Armor" case (and a tempered glass review included!)
I had a rugged Fosman case with a belt clip holder on my Lg G5. I liked it a lot but I couldn't find a similar Fosman for my new LG G6. I planned to install a tempered glass screen protector on the LG G6 so I scoured all available reviews and decided on the Sparin 2 pack tempered glass (it doesn't cover the front camera and I think that's a good thing) and hoping for compatibility with Sparin, I also purchased this Spigen LG G6 Tough Armor case to compliment the Sparin tempered glass screen protector.Even though this review is for the Spigen case, I'm adding information about how I installed a glass screen protector with this case. I hope my comments help some readers install this case with whatever brand of glass protector they purchase... if you're not installing a glass screen protector... skip down.I'm a machinist who constantly works to ten-thousandths of an inch tolerances and I'm meticulous about cleanliness in my operations. Installing the tempered glass was not difficult but DO take time to follow the instructions and clean the phone as instructed with the included products. Find a clean, flat and well illuminated work area. Place your phone on a dust-free, micro fibre cloth while applying the Sparin glass. As fussy and patient as I am, it's nearly impossible to eliminate airborne dust. A microscopic speck snuck onto the screen at the last moment before the glass was placed and "flowed" onto the phone and I have a tiny "speck" near the very bottom of the screen. There's also a tiny "crescent-shaped" bubble near the bottom corner that wouldn't flow out so I stopped monkeying with it. The bubble and speck are only visible when the phone is "sleeping" but when the screen lights up, they both disappear (I can live with that!). Once applied, avoid lifting the edge of the screen at all costs 'cuz it's maddening trying to squeeze out the tiny air bubbles that develop. If the glass doesn't align during install you WILL have to lift it up to reposition it. Due to the great surface tension that develops between the glass and the screen, it's impossible to "nudge" it into position without lifting it considerably (or likely chipping the edges as you're "pushing").When installing the Spigen case I learned that, to prevent the glass from being lifted by the rubber edges of the case as the phone's being squeezed into the case ... hold the phone in the palm of your right hand, press a corner of the glass firmly onto the phone with your right thumb or index finger while simultaneously "kneading" the edge of the rubber case onto that corner of the phone while using the thumb and forefinger of your left hand. You'll be trying to "knead" the rubber case over the corner of the phone while simultaneously pressing down on the glass in that same corner to prevent the case's rubber edge from "grabbing" the edge of the glass and causing it to lift. If it does begin to lift, stop... smooth the glass back down onto the phone (with the supplied cloth) and then try again. Repeat for the other 3 corners.I hope I never drop my phone but I know that's unrealistic so... I'm glad I purchased the tempered glass and this Spigen case. The kickstand only works in "landscape" mode but I doubt I'd use it any other way. I hardly use a kickstand but it's an added bonus. The price was extremely reasonable and shipping was ahead of Amazon's prediction!I will buy again (if needed) and I highly recommend!

Great case, durable, practical.
I never write reviews of the products I buy but if nobody does how can you know if they are any good, I've had this case for years and even though I changed my phone since then it stood the test of time, I enjoyed the little leg in the back of it, I used it every single day and I am happy to say it still works, it protected my phone for as long as I had it, for me it worked, simple, very sturdy and affordable.

excellente protection
