Keeps expensive hobby specialty paints usable much longer!
I like the size of this pallet, it doesn't take up a big amount of my work table. I also like the specialty sponge and pallet paper combo. I recently started painting Warhammer figures with my son as a bonding activity. Those little critters are pretty fun to paint! We picked up some specialty Citadel paints, and the consistency is perfect for enhancing the details! But Citadel paints are somewhat pricey! Add to that the fact that they dry quickly, and you have potential for significant waste. I hate wasting art supplies! The WetNDri Paint Tray Pallet has solved the waste issue very nicely! I put a few drops of paint on the pallet paper and mixed up a custom color for painting the metal on my critters, and then when I was finished with a first coat, I closed up the pallet & left for about a half hour. When I came back the paint was still perfectly wetted. I did a little more detail, closed the pallet and left again (there are a lot of 15 minute drying intervals during paint sessions for miniatures) Came back after lunch and picked up right where I left off.I like the dry pallet section too, although I have yet to do anything more than store brushes in it. But I'm thinking I might use it for mica powders and Rub n' buff metallics as well as dry brushing paints.I only have one real problem with this pallet; I originally bought it as a gift for my son, but I like it so much that now I have to get another one for him, because I'm keeping this bad boi!

This is just paper... why am i so excited about paper!?
I've had a chance to use this new wet palette paper day before last. It's unbelievably good. No curling, very durable, ZERO bubbling and even the edges of the paints remain moist. But probably my absolute favorite thing is that the paints don't absorb a bunch of water overnight, over-diluting your paints. This is especially helpful if you're mixing custom shades. This is not hype, this is the real deal. Here I am, gushing over paper, but it's really THAT good. Also, the sponges in the wet palette kits are the best I've ever used as well. I love these guys! They provide some great products at excellent prices and no matter where your skill level is they have what you need.I included a couple photos. The purple paint is by GW and has been on this paper for 2 days, lid replaced when not in use. No drying on the outsides at all. Minimal, if any, dilution from from water permeating the paper and completely smooth and devoid of annoying, paper-drying bubbles. These papers will save you product.

Wonderful product
“I have never had anything like this before, and I've painted for almost 64 years. Most of my life I have used oils, but a couple of years ago I challenged myself to go back, after 40 years, and try acrylics once again. It was a tough thing to do, as the acrylics handle completely different. One of the problems I had was to have my paints dry up before I finished the area I was working on. I paint with a lot of detail, so it takes a lot of time. I believe I threw away as much paint as I used, maybe more. I was hesitant, when I first heard of this product, as there is always someone out there trying to sell you something to make you "a better artist". I received my wet palette, easily figured out how to set it up, and put it to use. Wonderful! I worked with it for the past week and have yet to have my paints dry up. It's especially important when you are mixing colors to be able to go back to them. I will definitely recommend this product to my students, and the artists I am in contact with. Plenty worth the money. Unbelievable! I am very happy with it. And, by the way, this company has some wonderful detail brushes. I was given a set of the Minute Series XII, detail brushes by my son. They are now all that I use. They did not treat me like a number when I contacted them. I have found a home with them.” JESS ANDERSON

Works great with Citadel paints!
I purchased this wet palette for painting Warhammer miniatures, and it does the job. The sponge doesn't expand to fill the entire bottom tray, but its close enough, and the paper is thick, but allows moisture to come through and keep the paint from drying out.The top tray is nice when working with inks, shades, or contrast paints. Really, anything you wouldn't want to thin with water. I do find them to be a little tough to clean if I paint for a while and it dries a bit in those little spaces. But so far I've been able to clean them with some effort.I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend!

Good quality
Good quality. It’s good to take paint dry time longer.

Actually keeps paint wet
I waited 4 weeks to write this review to be sure. I use gouache primarily and after 4 weeks of use and not refilling or remoistening the sponge pad everything is as wet as when I squeezed it from the tube. The middle portion admittedly I haven’t used yet as I’m not as interested in it I ordered this product primarily as a stay wet palette with brush storage which has been wonderful. If anything everything stays a little too wet and I might wring the sponge out a little more next time as some of the colors are still so wet they’ve run together.Very pleased that nothing is moldy or disgusting and most of all nothing has even come close to drying out yet.I highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a stay wet palette for gouache (that’s also cuter than the other ones out there tbh).Size wise it’s about the same size as a small sketchbook but it is 3 layers so it is quite thick probably about 2-2.5 inches thick. It just sort of sits together with a band that acts as a fastener mostly so I probably wouldn’t want to travel with it full of paint. Though it is somewhat airtight or the paint would dry out. So use at your own risk for that or keep the sponge not as wet and it would probably be just fine.Overall really really pleased and this will be my gouache palette moving forward!

Quality
A very nice product. I use both the wet and dry pallet for painting miniatures. The uniform interlocking trays are perfect size, taking up minimal space in my work area. The design and materials are of excelent quality. I love it.
