It works if you install it properly
This stuff gets a lot of negative reviews because people don't understand how to apply it properly, i think. When you open this stuff don't go and instantly try to apply it. You need to take it out of the package, unroll it, and give it time to straighten out. A good way to do this is by letting it hang over a door over night. Next, after the strip has straighten out, you need to clean the area around the tub using with rubbing alcohol to ensure all the soap residue has been removed. After that, you need to precut strips to the right length. Don't try to cut this stuff while applying it. Lastly, once you've removed the plastic backing, heat the strips you've precut with a heat gun, or hairdryer, and let the glue get soft. Once the glue has become warm, and the strip pliable, then install.

Prep is important!!!
Preping the area is the most important part. I removed the old caulking, used goo gone and scrubbed with a rough sponge. I then rinsed well, let it dry, and used rubbing alcohol to finish the prep. The hardest part is pressing and doing the corners. I used a small bead of clear gorilla brand caulking at the top, bottom, and corners to help it last.

Color is good, seams aren't easy
Success is largely contingent upon prep. Scrape off the old caulk, scrub the crap off of the tub seam. Use rubbing alcohol to clean the surface. Cut your pieces to length. I use an X-acto knife to trim. Seams can be tricky. I like to overlap the ends of two different pieces and slice through both to create the seam.

Does the job. (with help)
Made a bit flimsier than in years past, but still does the job. Do not rely on just adhesive backing...add a bead of silicone ADHESIVE (not caulk) to the seam, and wait for it to become tacky, THEN apply seam tape. You will get double protection for your seam, and the seam tape will last for years without peeling.

Too old and lost it's stickiness
Unfortunately I cannot return this because it is not eligible. The packaging looked really faded and when I opened it up and pulled back the tape it wasn't sticky anymore. Some products just don't hold up over time. :(

Will not stick to the tile
I carefully cleaned the surfaces as directed. Then cut the length I needed. The strip would not stick to the tile. Not sure if the product is that poor or the caulking on the strip has aged and will no longer work.Reviewer recommended using a heat gun and applying silicone. What's the point of the product then. It is sparse on the caulking so more is needed.

It's ok, not great
A bit tricky to install but does the job. Not very visually appealing as the adhesive putty isn't evenly spread on the plastic part so the edges don't seal down nicely.

Doesn't work in long term
Only use as quick bandage solution. Don't use it in long run! Peeling it after 1-2 years you will find mould in side, worst of all the adhesive won't come off in one piece. Horrible expereince.

I think the product is fine, the problem I had was my finger actually went through the center line of the tape and it happened when I was almost done. I don't have a lot of nail but I now have a 5-6 in slice opened and I'm disappointed.
