It is a genuine product. I purchased and using with Toyota Sequoia. Completely satisfied and it fits well without using the lock. It saves my smart phone from sun shine and heat which comes directly if I use the dash board mount or at wind screen.

Had a third party cheap windshield adhered phone mount when my iottie cup holder mount didn't fit the bill in a new vehicle. Was fine for about a week. This is probably the best CD phone holder for the Mazda 2. It fits perfectly into the CD player, and does not move even without plastic plate. Maybe cables are in the way for the gear lever, but that can be fixed if you are creative. Better than Airvent or windscreen option for sure.
