Very nice extension cord. Much more heavy duty than the standard 16 gauge outdoor cords. The lighted end make it easy to tell in the dark if there is a power issue. Seems well made and should last many years. I'm using it together with another 100 foot cord of the same type to power a portable a/c unit to cool a 1200 sqft shed for my dogs. Working fine.

We needed a large gauge, relatively long extension cord for running power tools and other high-amp devices for our various DIY projects. Checked prices at the big-name hardware stores and the cables were much more expensive for a shorter run. This cable was perfect for us. Nice bright yellow color so I can tell the difference easily from my other extension cords. Comes with a nice velcro cable tie for keeping it coiled up. The light inside the Female end is a nice touch to be sure you've got solid power from the outlet. Nice thick connections and sheathing. Took a bit to get all the factory "spring" out of the cable so that I could wrap it over-under style for future use. But the trick to that is to get about 10 feet on the end nice and straight, and then as you make your coil, you just spin the coil bundle around the opposite way as you go. After receiving this, I replaced the male ends on my other extensions that had the grounds broken off. Now I have a nice set of extension cables for every different use. All I need is to get some more of those velcro cable ties so I can wrap the other ones up as nicely as this one. 50ft is perfect for all the household jobs I will be doing. We are very happy with this cable and saved a lot money getting it here.

too soon to tell but seems to be well made and up to the job, The price was reasonable. The 12 ga should handle most power tools I would ever run on it. Stay away from 14 and 16Ga cords they can damage your tools.

I needed a 50' extension cord, but was appalled at the cost of one in the local Wally World. I ordered one of these, and it was less than half the cost for the equivalent 12-gauge item. It was packaged adequately (box within a box), but it was coiled tightly for compact shipment. I needed to extend it fully and untwist a couple dozen turns. But then, it was ready to go! The outer sheath seems good, and it promises durability. The hook-and-loop keeper and the lighted receptacle end are welcome conveniences. Great cord at a great price!
