Is it really waterproof? Could i use it all weather in my pickup bed?

The material seems like it might be moisture resistant, but it is NOT a waterproof case itself. Items inside will be exposed to water , or a leak will come out if the items inside leak. I'd suggest never exposing this to harsh or even mild weather honestly, so dont get it for your pickup truck's bed. The unit is a bunch of panels only secured by velco, and is not intended for heavy loads (i was using this to store a floor jack in the trunk of my car for a while to stop it from rolling everywhere). I did accidentally break the handle trying to lift up this box with the floor jack just due to sheer weight, but to its credit, it will store more lightweight items easily like a roll of shop towels, microfiber cloths, and some small spray bottles easily and without looking messy. For your specific need, you might want to look at waterproof toolboxes with a proper IPX rating for what you think youll expose it to, especially if you can lock the toolbox shut, and also lock the toolbox to your truck so nobody passing by can swipe it.

What are the inner layers made of? Please don't say carbon fiber only. Is there wood, plastic, or cardboard? A graphic of the layers would help.
