Great coffee urn for a large crowd
Needed a large coffee pot for a wedding reception and this one was perfect. I filled about 7/8” under the fill line because at the fill line the water was floating in the filter basket. Coffee was good and the coffee pot kept the coffee hot. Very happy with my purchase.

Great for small parties
Works well, great for small parties! It takes a little longer than I would prefer but once you know that, you make it work. The quality of the coffee is alright.

Woohoo Coffeeeeeeeeeee Galore!!!
This is a great coffee vat, LOL because it is a 100 cup truckload. I drink a ton of coffffefeeffefeeeleeeeeeaejwfl;j djwejlef aelefwa;k;ewlj. Sorry, I am vibrating pretty bad. As I was saying, I like this percolating coffee maker. I removed one star because the spigot leaks a tad, sometimes. I had a different one which had zero leaking issues but was small and the power switch failed within a few months. So, I decided to buy this one due to other helpful reviews. I like that it doesn't get too warm on the outside, and that it is appealing to the eye, despite the monstrous capacity. It is sometimes difficult to insert the guts for some reason. I manage, and really hesitate to mention such an issue without having a suggestion in order to fix it. Maybe a more precise bore for the lower receptacle which receives the spout from the filter basket.? I don't know how to fix it but I know it needs attention. All that said, given the appropriate size and simplicity, I would buy it again in 50 heartbeats, (That's one heartbeat to most of you), even if they said it might be a tad difficult to get going.Moving on, I decided to incorporate a wi-fi enabled plug to avoid having to operate the manual switch on this pot. I did that to insure a longer life span with this investment. With that device, I am capable of setting a timer for start, shut off, while getting the huge capacity of this beautiful percolator at a great price. I think my approach is wise, informative and friendly advice to other coffee addicts.I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!

Nice stainless pot. Not too heavy, not too light.
Well built for the price. I like stainless over aluminum. This is not too heavy and not too light either. Medium brewing speed but the coffee is well brewed when it is done. The gauge on the front is very handy as well.

Buyer Beware - Draws Way too Much Energy
I thought these would be good for my Mushroom Coffee Business, but at our first event last weekend, they failed miserably. They draw way too much power, trip even 20amp plugs, tripped a 6500 watt generator, and cost our business lots of money when we could not get coffee brewed because of the energy draw. Yes, they're inexpensive, but they will fail you for an event unless you know that you have 30 amp outlets. I wouldn't even try on a generator. Very, very disappointed and would like my money back, but we bought these way in advance of our event - so out all the money on 2 of these. Probably donate to a church or something.

Life of my party!!!
I bought this items one month apart last year (October and November). Initially, it was just for whenever we have a party at work. But now, whenever the non-profit org I am involved with has an event, this 2 goes with us. Whether it be a meeting or symposium or a picnic. I bought the slender one first then I ordered the two-toned one a month later. I like the two-toned one (black and “stainless”) better because it has a power switch and indicator lights (for heating and keep warm) and the power cord is attached and is short. Though, it takes longer to make coffee, maybe more than 30 minutes. The slender type (on the right, all black) makes coffee quickly, just one indicator light and the power cord is detachable. So you can use a much longer cord if needed. Everyone loves the coffee on both. I use 3.5 gallon water to fill both percolators. I use 2.5 cups of coffee grounds for each. I have tested it with starbucks coffee grounds. But the great tasting one (and as per my guests) is the Pete’s coffee grounds. First try was the Dark roast french roast and today I used the hazelnut mocha flavor. It was again a success! The two-toned one is the is best for me between the 2.

Beautiful to look at as well
We run a non-profit coffeehouse that provides free meals and a LOT of coffee throughout the week. I have an issue with using aluminum cooking devices that interact with acids in any way. Coffee is fairly acidic so I opted to relegate the older aluminum model to heating water for hot cocoa and tea only, and purchased this for our coffee. We have regular visitors that consume a lot of coffee here and the comments came back immediately about how much better the coffee tasted in this new urn. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't offer comment, but I can pass on what our friends say and they are very satisfied with the change. I'm not sure the cleaning or other functions are that much different than the old urn, but the look is very pleasant and professional. The basket for the grounds is also stainless steel and not plastic which is another plus in my book when in comes to questionable materials interacting with acidic liquids...the health and taste factors do matter to me. I also like the glass column that allows you to see the coffee level as well.
